Haha, you both wear panties.

Kevin

In all fairness I do not wear panties everyday.  Just when I am feeling pretty.
You are never alone when there's a clone.

"Feel don't think"...and she slapped me right after I said it too.

I saw a case of these today. I almost bought one, but for $27, I said no. Here is why:

The ARC mold sucks, and there are only 2 ARC rifles. The third has a long clone rifle.
The gunner, obviously, has the crappy AT-RT head and it does reuse GI Joe Roadblocks mini-gun.

The only up side is Fordo, but I hate the Sandtrooper style pauldron.

I feel repaints should be cheaper, since the molds are made. I vote pass.

Articulation definitely leaves much to be desired, but the paint jobs on these are way too cool for me to pass on.  Besides, I broke down and bought the Gunship, so I gotta have the matching Clones for it, right?  ;)

Man I am so glad I never plunked down the money to get the Clone Wars Arc Troopers cuz they totally suck. Captain Fordo and the heavy gunner are cool, but those Arc Troopers are a utter disappointment. And what's with all these half-assed pauldrons? What I thought would be coolest "exclusive" this year leaves me a bit irked.

I didn't buy the set, but I do have a Clone Wars one I do not need.

I got it today
I was disapoited on how flimsy the pauldrons were. I thought they would be like the Rots comnader pauldrons, you know stiff.
Oh well.

Traded for one this afternoon.  I've yet to open it, but it looks okay for what it is.  5 figures for $25.  And they're army builders, too.  It's all good.

The ARC Trooper figure could definitely use some updating.  But it's also not the worst figure going.  I'm sure at some point Hasbro will update the ARC Trooper.  Just not now.

They did update when they made that Fordo, but I guess half-ass is better than no-ass.

Oh well.

These are out at most of the TRU in my area, but in very limited quantities.

I agree, the pauldrons are disappointing.  But I kinda knew what I was going to get with this set:
Fordo: Nice kit bashing.
ARC troopers: Good repaint. Better than the original greyish blue.  I wish these
were kit bashed more like Fordo with a little more articulation.
Heavy gunner: My least favorite.  Not a fan of the AT-RT head sculpt.  I would
of been happy with another ARC trooper.

Unlike "Skirmish in the Senate", I don't think I will go overboard on buying this set.  Overall, a nice set; but not a great set to add to my clone army.

I found these today, there was 1 case put out on the shelves.  The first thing I noticed is that the paint jobs were ultra sloppy.  Almost every set was like this.  Additionally, I like how the red ARC and the heavy gunner have articulated knees, but the other 3 ARC's knees don't appear to be articulated.  The pauldrons look kinda flimsy and not so good.  The red ARC appears to have the wrong guns, looks like he has those 2 little pistols from the Clone Commander #33 as opposed to the long barreled revolver types in the cartoons.

In all, I put it back on the shelf.  The $27 is more valuable to me, and that's saying a lot because I love clones.  But these just do not make the grade.

That pretty much covers my assessment of them as well.  Unfortunately, I can't change my mind in a day or two and pick them up.  Since I was in the States, I opted for this over a Titanium 5 pack.  I did manage to get the best paint job of the bunch but it still wasn't spectacular.  I just decided that I probably wouldn't have another opportunity to get these clones, so I opted in.
