I like everything about the YT-1300 freighter  except the small missile launcher and the small gun on the cockpit.

The Frog Trooper is pretty cool.  Looks like Gree kind of.  The holster is a great addition to him.

For some reason I don't like flippers on underwater clones, I guess that's just my opinion though.

Custom GAR Heavy Air Support Craft 4.0 and Pilot
« Reply #407 on: June 2, 2006, 12:32 AM »
I still have been getting request for my custom GAR Heavy Air Support Gunship. Here is the latest version 4.0. I've tried to keep the markings on all the ships a little different to add some variety. I also made a custom pilot to go along w/ it. Please LMK what you think.

Republic Tank WIP
I thought it would be fun to show you guys some WIP pics of one of my GAR Tanks. I know these things look absolutely rediculous before they are painted, but at least you can get a better idea of kind of parts I use to make these. This one is a little more symetrical than my previous tanks. I open to sugestions on the paint aps. LMK what you think.

LOL keep it that way and offer it as A Starwars.com exclusive. Hmmmm, maybe a Kashyyk theme would look cool.

thats cool to see it before the paint, those are some crazy patrs!

it might be cool to do a dark grey version for the empire and man it with some storm troopers and mabey a custom at-at style driver.

no matter what i can't wait  to see this one when it's finished, the balance of the tank looks much better and the parts choices look great!

Republic Tank WIP What a difference a coat of paint makes
« Reply #412 on: June 4, 2006, 06:41 PM »
My tanks don't really start to come together, until I put on that first layer of primer. Look at the difference a coat of paint makes.

Thanks for showing the WIPs.  What sort of primer are you using?

The Corellian ship looks good, I'm surprised that I didn't immediately think of "Millenium Falcon" when I saw it - you did a great job "upgrading" the ship to make it look unique.  I really like the paint scheme.

The frog trooper looks like a solid custom, you've blended the parts very well.

I love the WiP shots of the GAR Tank.  The water pistols on the sides are hilarious!  I can't believe what a difference a layer of primer makes.
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Kashyyyk Clone Hover Tank
I decided to go with some of your suggestions and paint my latest Republic Battle Tank in a Kashyyk deco. The Camera Flash reflected a little wierd off the decals, so the colors look a little off in the pics. LMK what you think.

Very, very nice Fritz.  I like the paint scheme a lot, seems pretty realistic to me.  I'd suggest maybe painting the missles black?  Just might look a bit more real and match your great paint scheme.

Yes but he took my suggestion of a kashyyk theme. :P Great Job fritz it looks outstanding just like all of the others. On the rocket launcher the rockets are like bright flourescant red, maybe tone them down to a maroon or something.
