Here a quick Concept I whipped up for the UGP. Space Port Fire Rescue. I was going to Paint the Jumpsuit a different color, but I thought the Helmet matched the the Original Paint aps perfectly. Besides, I'm sure there were plenty of surplus Fire Speeder Pilot suits left after the Clone Wars.
LMK what you think.

Here is my latest. Again I was trying to give it a little bit of that WWII feel. LMK what you think.

Looks great! The WWII feel fits in so perfectly with the Galactic Empire.
Oh the poor toasted sand trooper half buried. Great work on that!
Did you hollow out the snowtrooper torso to fit over another one or did you use it as is?

Those are awesome, Fritz.
This news may interest you: Rumor has it that 21C has been working on 18 brand new figures, including DAK Germans.

WEG star wars had so much cool stuff. I still got alot of the books.
These figures inspired me to do some searching at my local Wal-Mart today, and much to my suprise the 21C figures. Seeing what you have done with them shows that they would make excellent customs fodder.
What display diarama is the plastic rock from? The old Sandcrawler Diarama?

Thanks for all the great feedback guys.
Straxus> The Plastic Rock Piece is from the FX R2-D2 that came out a few years back. The Desert Troopers Torso is for the most part intact. I dremeled sockets for the Ball-Socket Shoulders to plug into. I used rubber gaskets to hold the shoulders firmly in place. The Hole in the Base of the Snow Trooper Torso is perfect for pluging the 21st C. Legs and waist into.

Your customs there got me to actually go buy some of those C21 figures. I wish the Star Wars figures came with as many accessories as most the C21 figures appear to... (I will have to pay more attention to other 3 1/2" figures in the stores from now on.)
Do you have any more desert themed figures on the way? These are great and would love to see more!
Oh and I caught some of your other "dead" customs on another site. Great work on those! Creepy cool..hehe.

I added two more Desert Troopers to Genral Remphax's growing ranks. I think I may use these guys in a Photo Novel Mini Series. I'll have some WIP pics up soon. LMK what you think.

Very cool! I really like what you did with the combination backpack! Those hoth trooper parts look great with the desert color scheme! Is the holster from a Star Wars figure, C21 figure or custom made?

great stuff as always Fritz. I wouldn't even come close to making them look that good, or with so much creativity. If you ever do a PN with these guys in that background it'd be funny to have Indy Jones walk by with the Ark.
