By the pic I'd say you're right, PenDragon, but remember that Captain Fordo "...preferred heavy weaponry to fancy tactics, and subtlety was never his strong point."

I just thought that since ARCs and RCs, especially Null ARCs, would go on more stealthy missions therefore they'd use something that doesn't scream REPUBLIC IS HERE.  God I'm such a geek, debating sci-fi.  Excuse me while I change my pocket protector and slather on the clearasil...

Rebel Space Troopers
« Reply #662 on: January 29, 2007, 12:39 AM »
Not all planets are as hospitable to life as, Tatooine, Hoth, and Endor. Most of the Galaxy's planets can not support life yet still retain strategic and mineral value to both the Rebellion and the Empire. Many battles were fought over such places. The Empire with all of it's resources had developed life support systems for their legions of Stormtroopers to survive on inhospitable worlds and Specailized Zero-G Troopers whom dominated Space battles out side of the protection of a Capitol Ship or Starfighter. The Rebellion had to make do with less advance Space suits. The wore slightly modified civillian Zero-G suits often used by asteroid miners. These suits were often employed when boarding Capitol Ships, evacuaiting damaged vessels, and fighting in Toxic atmospheres. A few small elite commandos were trained in sabotage techniques against capitol ships. These commandos were known as Rebel Space Troopers.

Here is my latest project from Order66Customs. LMK what you think.

Nice selection of blaster for these guys, they look great!
Especially like the idea of rebels having to use civilian class gear too, very nice!  ;D

Here is my latest incarnation of the Iron Hammer for Order66Customs. I flipped the legs and removed the cables as forum memebers Chewie and Scribble suggested. I think it gives it a more Star Warsy feel. I decided to give this one a Snow Camo paint Ap. LMK what you think.

I'll haven't done any customs of vehicles but I'll think it's time to get started,
thanks for the inspiration!

Looks really cool!
Good color pattern.
