If this list turns out to be true, I'll be very happy.  I just hope that Hasbro does the logical thing and repacks good figures instead of yet again reissuing the Obi-Wan #1 and Anakin #2 figures.  If they rerelease the Evolutions Anakin as that repack, I will pick up two in a heartbeat to stick in the JSFs.

The Clones would be a great time to do an SA version of the 501st, the Shocktroopers, or the gray guys, since all three were on Coruscant.  Ki-Adi-Mundi makes no sense to me unless he's a hologram, considering we never saw him in corporeal form on Coruscant in the film at all.

As for the new figures, I can't say that I'm disappointed with any of them, although I'm pretty surprised that the Surfer Neimoidian is getting made.

Unless they really screw these up....

*new* - Coruscant Fire Fighter Pilot - At least one.
*new* - Lushros Dofine (Invisible Hand Captain) - Yes.
*new* - Commander Cody - At least one.
*new* - Foul Moudama: Talz Jedi - Whoa, didn't see that one coming. Yes!
(repack) - Anakin Skywalker - Probably not. It depends.
(repack) - Clone Trooper - I'll wait and see.
(repack) - Ki-Adi Mundi - Probably not. It depends. Would love this if it's holo, but I doubt it.
(repack) - Obi-wan Kenobi - Probably not. It depends.

Looks like Ki Adi will indeed be Holo (or Ghost if you prefer)

I'm going to guess that the Clone is a repaint and as the Yellow/Orange Utapau version

I'm Ki Adi will be holo.  It will probably be the EP1 sculpt, which I guess is all they can do unless they augment the ROTS one somehow.  It's odd the RS '411' failed to dig any dirt on the clone, which is the only real question mark we have on that wave.

Battle of Coruscant from Episode III will include 6 figures, each with bonus mini hologram figure.

My suggestions:

The six

-new Bail Organa with the robe and fur stole from the Senate landing area
-Neimoidian pilot (new)
-Senator Giddean Danu (new) -- IMHO one of the coolest outfits in the whole saga
-Padmé with "TIE fighter hair" (new)
-new Captain Typho
-POTJ Security Battle Droid rereleased in red security, blue pilot, gold commander, and plain -- same sculpt but with maybe slightly thicker legs for better stability

//quote]

Yawn! Hasbro would be committing suicide with this. Why not just call it the "Pegwarmer" collection?

I'm not opposed to any of those figures showing up one to a wave...but a full case of those would sit on the shelves, and then we'd be whining that Hasbro didn't know what they were doing, blah blah blah...

For example, I think Hasbro would be wise to steer clear of ANY Neimoidian in the future. I'm still going to be looking at the ROTS versions on the shelves well into 2007 at this rate...and my local TRU has no less than 150 Bail Organa's hanging on the racks. And don't get me started on Captain Typho...he's still at Kay-Bee on Ep. II card for $3.33, along with Lott Dodd and Orn Free Ta.

I'd like to see Bail in his Senate Outfit at some point, but I KNOW he's not gonna sell unless he's in a battle pack with four 501st...

I'd love to see that Padme - we were robbed by only getting one Padme in the ROTS collection.  I think the connection to Leia with similar hair styles would help it sell quite well.

As well, I'm all over getting those Battle Droids.  I still remembering how cool it was to find not 1, not 2, but 4 different battle droids during Episode 1.  But you're right, they've got to be much sturdier.  Last time I checked, they don't make Battle Viagra for drooping droids.

So far we don't seem to be getting any Padme next year which is mind blowing considering we're getting sure fire duds like Sun Fac.   ::)

Oh sure, I know that. I was just posting what I would want to see in my own personal Happy Universe. ;)

Agreed.

Others will surely disagree, but for my money the ROTS Padme is essentially useless, and I'll tell you why. As I often mention, I enjoy the political angle in the prequels so I like amassing and displaying the Senator type figures (i.e. the ones everybody always describes as boring statue pegwarmers--y'all know the type of figures I'm talking about ;)) and I want a version of Padme that fits that theme. Not the silly pajamas from the Arena and Mustafar.

Hmmm...  I'm hearing reports that there are pictures of the Coruscant wave in the latest issue of Lee's Toy Review magazine.

Anyone else heard this?  Anyone have a scan?  Or at least a discription of the figures?   :-\

Might have to check the local shops and see if I can check it out...

Damn, no one in town carries that magazine.  If they're going to have breaking news like this, a subscription may be in order.

I'm also hearing reports now that the pictures are in Tomart's Action Figure Digest as well...

Perhaps Hasbro decided to throw the print press a bone and let them carry the photos of this wave first?
