Madcow's Wookiee Collection (and more!)...
« on: March 29, 2006, 07:52 PM »
I've been a Chewbacca fan since I was a kid so I decided a few years ago to focus on that. I just got my stuff unpacked from a few years of storage and decided to set it up. I'm a bit behind and really haven't added much to it in the past 3 years but this is most of what I have so far....

More stuff to be added in time. I just started picking up some ROTS Wookiee stuff, now I just need more room... It never ends...

Very cool focus collection!  That vintage 12" scaled Chewie is sweet.

Whoa, it's a trip to see that '97 Taco Bell "Feel the Force" game piece ad. I didn't know anyone had any of that stuff. I collected those game pieces which were, for some reason, kind of a favorite thing of mine; for years after that promo I tried to find people to trade with, but I don't recall once coming across someone who actually had some. That's a pretty neat item. You have any more of those? You got any of the game pieces to trade?? I'm still wondering just how many different character pieces are actually confirmed... I still have a couple extras if you want to trade. ;D

I love that giant game piece, it's actually cardboard and once hung from a mobile with some others just like it... I actually worked for Taco Bell at the time of the promotion and took some of the promo stuff when it was done. Chewie is the only piece I have left. The coolest thing I had was a giant vinyl banner that went the length of the whole building. Sadly that is gone as I had nowhere to display it... As for the game pieces, I had pretty much all of them except for the rares, I don't remember how many there were total, maybe 20-25. About 2 years ago, I was cleaning out and tossed them. I tried to trade/sell at the time but got no responses so I figured there wasn't a market for them. If I come across any more i'll gladly drop you a note. ;D

Well, i'm in a new place now and have picked up 2 of those nifty Ikea jobbers though i'm thinking I need another. Here are some updated collection pics:

Detolf 1: Chewbacca

Detolf 2: Mixed Favorite Figures and 400% Kubricks

Mixed favs & Cartman:

400% SW Kubricks:

400% Misc. Kubricks:

Hellboy (work in progress):

Now my wife had the idea of doing the bathroom in red/black/white so she told me to put any toys matching the description up. This is what I have so far:

The Stormtrooper makes sure you brush your teeth correctly OR ELSE!

It's all still a work in progress and i'm hoping to get another in the next month for all the regular sized Kubricks...

That's the first time I've ever seen a Wookiee focus. Very cool.

Here's one I think you need to try and get a hold of.  ;D

HOLY MOSES! That's PERFECT! Who/What/When/Where/Why/How? I have all but one of the 12"-13" releases and they've always been a HUGE disappointment to me, that is hands down the best i've ever seen...

That's sweet!   Looks like the plushy Collectors Series with a borrowed head?

This is actually from the Star Wars Special episode of Robot Chicken.
