Biggest regret in life?
« on: April 8, 2006, 07:16 AM »
#1)  I passed on a perfect chance to get some Jordan XI's back in '95 or '96, instead going with some other Nikes that I can't even remember at this point.

#2)  I didn't go see Nirvana when they played here in late 1993, just months before Cobain blew his brains out, thinking for sure they'd be around for a while and I'd have plenty of other opportunities to see them.

I guess mine would be not volunteering to do a second year of active duty after I had already done a year in 01-02.  If I had a chance, I'd go back and volunteer for a second year in a heartbeat.

I had the idea for colored saran wrap years before Glad did.  I should have jumped all over that.

As good as things were going I may have been in management at an automotive parts wherehouse had I not 'lost it' and threw a guy through 2 glass entry-way doors.

Instead, I started my life over, enlisted, got married and have a family now. Not sure I really regret the incident seein' how things turned out after..but I'll never know what could have transpired if I just walked away after a punk intentionally knocked my lunch on the floor. :-\

I found Dressels' post entertainingly legit for this forum.  :-*

Not many major regrets, I would have liked to see the star wars exhibit though, and go to Gamesday 2006.   :-\

I would have applied for patents for the in-aisle price checking scanner and do-it-yourself registers.  I had both those ideas a decade before I ever saw them.

my biggest regret, easily, is missing out on this party:

it was my birthday, too. just my luck.

I would have gone to a different college to play baseball.  Pro teams were looking at me and because my coach and I didn't get along, he didn't promote me to scouts and I ended up leaving the team when 15 games into the season he told me in a closed door meeting that I wasn't going to play another inning the rest of the season.   >:(  The guy took the fun out of the game for me and cost me a chance at living out my childhood dream.  It hurt even more when 6 months down the road a buddy of mine was approached by a scout from the Braves during a summer ball tournament who asked him, "So whatever happened to Jason Moore?"   :'(
