That reminds me, for some reason, of a funny story about EE Clones and my local group...

We'd gotten into a sneak preview of ROTS like a day or two before the official release...  Not real sneaky but sneak preview nonetheless.  Anyway at the time the guy who ordered our EE Clone cases had them and wanted to divy them up at the showing...  So late at night, in the parking lot, very dimly lit, of a TGI Fridays between the theater and the restaurant, we were all standing around the trunk of a car picking up these "white bricks" and exchanging cash...

Obviously this made everyone laugh nervously.

As a grown man, I'd almost rather get busted with real white bricks than white boxes filled with toy figures!

You should see us dealing out of the back of Darth_Slothus' truck. ;D

It's sad but ultimately I wanted those Clones so I'd have sucked up all embarassement.  Still though it was as suspicious a moment as I've ever been involved in...  About mid-transaction everyone kind of started to pause a little bit and I brought up how it looked like a coke deal going down...  We all laughed, but nobody disagreed in the slightest.

I only have one and he's free from his plastic prsion. Pretty good figure as a matter of fact, I'm very happily surprised with him.  ;D

12 open and 5 more in the package.  Probably trade those to anybody who needs em...too much hassle to take back as I can't find the receipt and they are clearanced now.

Now that's what I'm talkin about!  It's funny how I have 20 of these bad boys and everytime I see another one on the shelve, I am in awe.  Maybe it's the figure, maybe it's the nostalgic packaging.  Now if only we can get a new speederbike........ ;)

That Wal-Mart will never clearance them, not in the next three weeks at least, at which point I'll be back in in Fort Collins and they will be all yours. ;)
