After seeing THOH last night I'm missing the WSOS line again.  Lots of potential from last night and still a ton of great THOH figures that were never made in the first place.

I have to confess to some cynicism while watching previous THOH episodes - in many cases I viewed them as I had much of Star Wars, as a big ad for future toys.  Nice to see the last part of the show with so many potential toys and no line to put them out in.  Not that I wouldn't buy them if they came out.

Well, I'm not trying to be negative but it was just typical THOH stuff.  Nothing really spectacular.  All enjoyable though.

I've always liked the Treehouse of Horror episodes, but they aren't always my favorite toys (except for Kang and Kodos, which I don't have).  I'm glad the last planned THOH set wasn't made, as it didn't seem like such a great idea.

THOH 16 was ok, but not a classic. Still, I started cracking up with the appearance of the Herbie Hancock "Rockit" robots in the AI segment.  Haha.

I loved the first THOH set, some of my favorite figures from the line.  Kang and Kodos rocked as well.  The third THOH set wasn't the greatest and the fourth just outright sucked.  I don't remember the planned fifth set any longer, though I remember the controversy over the choices.  I wasn't opposed to it, mostly because it had a Homer in it (something the fourth set didn't).

I still contemplate picking up more figures from the WOS line though, mostly because they are so remarkably cheap now.

I believe this was to become the 5th THOH:

I think there were other options, but this one got the closest to being made.

Yeah, that rings a bell visually.  I'd have been happy with the Homer but the rest are meaningless to me, as with all Simpsons playsets I typically unloaded the remainder of the figures so I was just left with Homer.  THOH1 is an exception because I love those characters.  THOH2 was all about Kang and Kodos (3 was donut homer, or do I have 2/3 mixed up?) and the Homer was just a bonus, a series 1 Homer with a resculpted head.

I'm still waiting for McFarlane to finally release pictures of the Simpsons sets he has had planned now for over a year.

In regards to THOH, how cool would an Apu R2D2 figure be?   :P

I`m still missing the last playset with Jebadiah (sp?)   Never saw it around
here.

Man, that thing warmed the pegs for two years locally. In fact, there may still be some around.  Let me know if you still want it for cost plus shipping and I'll go hunt for you.

Still waiting for series 1 to show up locally :-\  Series 2 looks ok too, but I want to see what they look like in person.
