In continuing proof of the suggestion that toy collecting is like residing in Siberia....

Zellers, a local Canadian chain that approximates K-mart down south (actually, they took over a bunch of Kmarts when it folded in Canada) has decided to start carrying Simpsons figs for the first time.  Great news, right?  Wrong, they brought in wave 10 which has been warming the pegs at local TRUs for months ::) >:(

Nah, I'd have to rename the cat "toto".  That and those red slippers pinch.

Here is a pic of the sweet new THOH set.  Both Barts arms and neck are supposed to be stretchy.

No Homer, no THOH for me.  the figs are nice, but I'm pretty limited in what I collect out of the Simpsons.  I am very dissappointed there aren't five figures in the set so Homer could be included.   :(

The THOH sets keep getting better and better, I might get this one. Just for the Comic Book Guy and Xena. That is if I can find one, even though I didn't really look for the last one, it would have been nice to find one.

I really like that new THOH set. I'll definitely be picking that one up....and not just because I'm trying to be a completist.  ;D

And speaking of B-sharps...

I took a closer look the other day at the peg warming Series 10 Simpsons.  I was thinking maybe another Homer for trade bait.  To my dismay the packaging is bilingual (aka Canadian) and there is no promo insert for the mail away.  Now, I knew that like always they only deliver to the US but there is no insert at all or mention of the promotion.  Quite surprising.

The stuff is just sitting.  TRU had it months ago and it's priced at $12.99 Cdn.  Even Hank Scorpio is just sitting there. ::)

So is anyone going to the Simpsons collectors meeting at Comic Con? I don't really hang out at the SCS much....but that sounds interesting.

Why isn't JD or RS having one of these organized meetings for Star Wars collectors?  Next year guys, Next year.

You can just find Matt and harrass the heck out of him

The SCS is the site for which all other toy sites should be IMO, they absolutely rule in their breadth of coolness
