I agree. I want the AotC Lars family, too.

Here's what I'd throw in:
Owen Lars,
Beru Whitesun,
Cliegg Lars with hover chair,
Shmi Skywalker (Lars)
Anakin? Not sure about the 5th...

But the Lars family doesn't really make a "Battle" Pack.

Maybe not a Battle Pack, but it would make a nice 7-Pack like the exclusive Bounty Hunters, Commandos, or DS Officer sets we've seen...

Lars Family Moisture Farm:
 - Cliegg Lars (AotC)
 - Owen Lars (AotC)
 - Beru Whitesun (AotC)
 - Anakin Skywalker (Evolutions Ep2)
 - Padme (Lars' Homestead version)
 - C-3PO (AotC repaint)
 - R2-D2 (RotS preview droid repaint)

3 new figures (Owen, Beru, Cliegg), 2 repacks (Anakin, Padme), and 2 repaints (3PO, R2).  A nice blend of brand new, kind of new, and old figures.

I think that this would make a great exclusive battle pack. Give us young owen, beru, and cliegg lars with removable legs and hoover chair. Through in some droids or creatures and all would be well.

You're nuts.   ;D  I would so much rather have a pack of something like 5 shadow stormtroopers or 5 alien jedi for army building. Yeah! Of course, I'm a completist and need to buy everything, so if they make this EF, I'm holding you personally responsible!  >:(  ;)

I'm sure it wil do just as well as the Lucas family pack. Whether that's a good thing or not, I don't know.

Let's put "Battle" back into battlepack. Call it "Homestead Defense" and have Owen, Beru, and Clieg with removable gear(limb in one case) and weapons gunning against a couple of vintage tusken raiders. Hasbro can tweak the raiders with slight color changes, and maybe holes in the irobes to make it interesting.

I'd buy any of these ideas.  We definitely need the prequel Lars family made...

Yes, we definitely need the Lars family, but name one battlepack that has all new figures, not based on ANY previous sculpts and well articulated?  You can't, because they haven't done that since the Cinema Scene days.  The closest thing they did was the new face sculpts on the poorly articulated officers in the DS Briefing set.  There was nothing new to the sculpts of Vadar, Tarkin, or Motti and the bodies of all the rest of the officers were based on the same sculpt.  If I remember correctly, the exclussive Lucas family pack was near $40 for 4 figures?  I must be wrong.  The son was a straight repack and the other 3 were new figures, but hardly worth $10 a piece.

We definitely need the Lars family, but they need to put it out in a wave and spend the money to do the figures right... maybe even send out some more moisture vaporators with them and of course, Clieg needs that hover chair.  I like the idea of the pack, but I don't see Hasbro doing that ever unless the price was over $50.  No need for another r2 and 3po in the set, either.

I could go for a Lars family set if it was something like this:

Owen Lars
Beru Lars
Obi-Wan Kenobi (ROTS Pilot w/ softgoods)
infant Luke
Eopie

That would be awesome, but again, I don't think Hasbro would put that many all new sculpts in a set.  Besides, It would have to have Clieg at least, if not Shmi (the Ep 1 one left a lot to be desired).

Two Mustafar Duel BP casemates would be great! All they would need are:

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Red-Leader Pilot)
Anakin Skywalker (Evoulutions)
Cool Mining Droid w/Bucket
2x Mustafar Sentry

Emperor Palpatine (Evolutions)
2x Shock Troopers (SOTS)
2x Mustafar Lava Miner

Oh, please Hasbro, please please PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with a cherry on top.
