It's nice that this wave/collection is numbered separately (1-12) from the standard basic line (001-???)

Good like Jeff pointed out on the Grievous.  Bad on the Obi Wan, Yoda, Windu and Anakin.

DUMB!

It is that they're numbered separately  so now it's like a non-buy for me. ::)
A Pass just like the last time they had Greatest Hits collection ::).

what a waste.

I've already preordered a case of these from NewForce because I wanted the Vader.  I gotta say though, these figures look damn good on the new cards - it's weakening my resolve to not collect 3 3/4" figures anymore...

I hear that Jesse-

I went in to 2006 having had just about enough of 3 and 3/4 for a while. The first wave solidified that position. But AT-At drivers, General Veers, cool clones, and great packaging have me on the fence. For me the deal breaker is going to be price and availability. Keep them around $6.00 and generally available, and I will probably go back and even get the Carkoon goons to have a full set like the 2004 OTC.

That # 41 clone looks a darn purdy on this new card- and I already have all the loose ones I need...

(that sound you now hear is me on the slippery slope to carded collecting again)

AAAAAAAAG!

Hmmm... more carded pics (from EE).

- Black Clone Pilot is shown, which is different from that Clone Cardback we saw.
- Greivous is back to #36 Explodo-Greivous according to the pic.  ::)

Kudos to Hasbro on the black Clone Pilot, not so much for Explodo-Grievous.

I can't believe they are repacking all of these, though it just reconfirms my decision to buy only what I like now. I refuse to support this repackaging. Frankly, I find it disgusting. I'm not paying for new cardboard. Period. ::)

That's some damn sexy cardboard, though.  ;) I want Vader, Bacara, and the Clone Grunt.

The Black clone pilot is a nice gesture, but it's the only one.  So many possibilities...

Finally I may get a black pilot.  I never saw one at retail.  I'll probably pick up some clones b/c I am weak but most of the other crap in this wave makes no sense.

Based on sales a greatest hits wave in my opinion should include hot items, not the peg warming crap.

Ironically the Bacarra looks good in that card and since that figure was meant to be in a card it is not all bad.
You are never alone when there's a clone.

I hope that's a prototype and they actually paint the calfs, shins and hands grey to match the picture instead of just the shoulder pads.

Actually, I don't think the shoulders are painted--it's just the translucent tray covering it. If you look closely at his right shoulder (to the viewer's left), the gray overlaps onto his arm plate a little, matching to the edge of the tray. And on his left shoulder (our right) the tray doesn't cover his entire shoulder pad and neither does the gray.

I thought the shoulder pads were painted too. I was starting to panic.

I'll be looking for a pilot, grunt, bacara, and maybe a destroyer droid.   8) That is some great cardboard...  ;D

Again, this assortment looks great carded - much better than their first ROTS releases.   While I'm not happy with their choice of figure (minus the black pilot and clone trooper) the packaging is superb and may be strong enough to convince me to buy them all.

Count me in for another Black Pilot, Clone or two, and maybe another Bacara for a custom.
