Apparently this was in the April Fools section...   ;)

That's what I get for skimming through a magazine.   :-\   :)

Anyone pick up Aliens vs Predaors? The single player mode was a bit disappointing. The enviroment was a bit too dark IMO and the light you have isnt the greatest.  The online mode is a different story though and is pretty fun.

Also looking for some feedback on a decent but not overly priced headset.

On a side note, I just recently started playing online and am looking for contacts to add.  So feel free to shoot out your usernames so I can add them. Mine is crossroads69. Thanks!

Started Infamous a few weeks ago and finished it on hero mode this afternoon.  Fun game, and I look forward to replaying it in evil mode someday.

Had to update my PS3 today and it said that I couldn't install Linux if I went through with the install.  I've never pimped any of my previous systems, but I declined the update just in case.

Time now for Batman Arkham Asylum.   :)

I had to update two weeks ago or so. I can't have another OS running anymore either (not that I had), but the system also said I couldn't log on if I didn't install the update. I don't mind though.

Anyone pick up Red Dead Redemption?

I had a good time with Red Dead Revolver and heard this is a great GTA type game, but I've never paid more than $60 for a game and never intend to.

Case in point - still living in the past.  Finished Batman Arkham Asylum a few weeks back and I'm about halfway through with Resistance 1.

2-disc collector's edition $20 + shipping (if you're serious)

It's just the "Digi-pack" sleeve with the 2 discs - not all that extra crap that came with that set.

I was planning to pick it up off eBay to play anyway... might as well do it within the family since the option's there.  PM me your PayPal address.  Thanks!

My son just started playing Split Second (received the day it was released via his Gamefly subscription).  He's having a blast blowing up cars as he races through the cities.  Not sure on the long term replayabilty yet though.

He's also looking forward to ModNation Racing coming out next week and apparently Little Big Planet 2 is due out "sometime" in 2010.

Having a bloody great time with Darksiders. I've fast become a huge fan of not only the game, but of the amazing artwork as well. I've read about a contest during the release of the game. Anyone have that lifesize Chaoseater for cheap?  ;D

Glad to hear you're enjoying the Dark Knight Bill!  Ivy and Harley Quinn are about the sexiest female video game characters I've seen in awhile.   >:D

I've resisted Resistance since I'm stuck on one of the final levels and can't move forward so I've gone back to LEGO Star Wars (which is a NICE break from FPS) and have started Wolfenstein on the side (which is not a break from FPS).  I still remember playing the first version on a cheesy PC back in the "late" 90's??  This is an awesome upgrade!

Sony's E3 conference starts in about two hours.  Looking forward to that, even thought it seems they've already announced all their games.  I'm not expecting many surprises at this point.

If anyone wants to be next in line for Batman - Arkham Asylum, I'm finished.  It was absolutely worth the $20 + shipping.
