Stupid question, but easiest way to get the answer.  Back on page 11 or so someone mentioned some backwards compatibility with a newer PS3 console.  Is that the case now?  Are the newest consoles compatible with PS2 games (and hardware) or is that just a fantasy?

Pretty sure the only BWC PS3's (available today) are the ones bundled with MGS.

And once discontinued, there won't be a BWC replacement.

I would say skip x-2..it was bad..really bad lol. 12 I started but never really got anywhere, especially when I went 3hours without saving only to die becuase the AI attacked some monster that was 15 levels higher than all my characters lol.
