Picked up Deadspace on clearance at Target and I didn't really need printed help, but I got the game guide at Best Buy for a penny.  Extremely odd price, but I guess I don't need to google for help now if I need it when I find time to play the game.

Congrats!  I pick up most of my games on eBay.  You can get 2 or 3 month old games for sometimes 1/2 the price of retail.

Thanks!  I usually just wait a year or two - that's my strategy on getting cheap games.  I'm very patient when it comes to gaming.   ;)

Tried out a handful of demos, this weekend. Batman is awesome, even for a hack and slash it was pretty damn fun. Could perhaps be a tad linear beating up a hundred generic goons before every tiered face oponent. Il-2 was okay - but sort of boring - I'd rather have more arcade style maneuverability. COD:World At War was very bland - no interest in that at all at this point. The Ghostbusters game was decent enough for nostalgia - perhaps a good $15 game some day.

Downloaded CMR Dirt2 this afternoon and did a couple of laps on the Baja and Morocco tracks. Pretty fun, but I think I'll save my money for GT5.....

I've been playing Resident Evil 5.  Very enjoyable so far, though I agree with the folks who've found it a bit easy.  I'm thinking of the Batman game next.

This is a random post but, anyone seen the PS3 commercial about the rumors it is dropping to $299 where the Sony guy says "don't believe rumors you hear on the internet, that's how WW1 started"? Its pretty funny.

Ordered Beatles: Rock Band and Batman: Arkham Asylum the other day from Best Buy. Best Buy is having a buy one, get one half off sale, so I'm getting both for roughly $45. Not a huge savings, but better than the retail here in town.

The original line was funnier:  "if everything you read on the Internet were true I'd be a Nigerian millionaire."

Then Nigeria complained...   :P

These two quotes seem to go together.

Uncharted 2 review from Games Radar

Quote
Since we briefly played Uncharted 2 at Gamescom in Cologne recently and were part of the multiplayer Beta, we expected it to be pretty good, but ****in’ crikey, not this good.

Launch day buy for certain.   ;D

Uncharted looks like fun.  Will probably be a year before I good price on the sequel.  Picked up Bionic Commando on clearance for $15 at Target today.  Loved the original NES version and this looks like a fun ride - once I actually hook my system up to play it.   :-\   Trying to figure out what to do with my Dreamcast that's still sitting on top of my ol 32" tube tv.

FINALLY got high speed at the house and am formally challenging all of you to a duel at Modern Warfare (and eventually MW2), Rock Band: Beatles, or whatever else.

PSN name is, of course, angryewok.

I've been playing the Uncharted 2 multi-player demo since I pre-ordered the game last week, and it is truly impressive.  I'm not very good, but it's a blast.  I was able to score twice at Plunder to secure my team's victory.  Great feeling there.  A tutorial would have been nice, but I'm slowly catching on.  The public demo may go up in the store this week or next.

I don't have many other multi-player games AE.  I haven't tried any of the co-ops in Resident Evil 5 if you own it.  Or there's always Little Big Planet.  I'm CreatureCantina if you want to add me.
