Wasn't the government doing something "special" with the PS2 when it came out back in the day?

Picked up the GOW collection the other day at BB for $15 after the $10 price drop and $15 in reward points.  Glad to have these back after ditching my PS2.   :)

Hope they do a Kingdom Hearts upgrade type deal someday.

I've got the new slim system, so it sounds like I should be OK.  But I'm leaving mine off for now just in case.

Wow...That really sucks.  I haven't played my PS3 for about two weeks, but logged about 5 hours yesterday morning on Assassin's Creed.  Hopefully that doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.   :-\

In theory the issue will resolve itself in about an hour.  It's tied to Leap Year math and the GMT time zone.  For whatever reason it thought 2010 was a Leap Year, and died when it couldn't resolve the date.  If it's not working by 7pm EST, I saw if you remove the battery for 10 minutes the internal clock will reset and it'll be fine.  I've wanted to vacuum mine out for a while, so this might be the time to do it.

Got my Game Informer yesterday and it said that Sony's going to shut off Home.  Never really bothered with it much, but do they have plans for any other sort of online community?

Glad I never forked over any cash for a Stormtrooper outfit    :)

That's the first I've heard that.  I don't use Home either, but I know there are people out there addicted to the thing.
