Oh.  No.   :'(

I agree, they look quite neat and I wouldn't mind myself getting a set of those.

But.....

Can you say twilight Frodo?  I forsee the world of chase figures creeping ever closer. ::)

Dirty words. The Endor Generals are hard enough to find; they just as well be chases.

You do know that there's supposed to be a Leia chase figure in the first Bust Ups assortment, right?

No I didn't know that Nick.  Thanks for the info.  I believe this is the appropriate point to use a cheesy quote along the lines of now your (Hasbro's) journey to the dark side is complete ::)

See, this is why I'm buying a case of Bust Ups.  But it's Gentle Giant's fault, not our favorite toy company from Rhode Island.

I read somewhere an interview (might have been at Scum) about how GG is packaging these sort of like Kubricks.  That was their words and with their size I wonder what market of collector they are going after here

I'm on the fence on these, thought about it but its probably something I'll pass on.  Not really interested too much in SW right now I guess :-\

The cases come with blind packing.  Meaning, that an even number of each character is in each case, with the exception of the chase Leia, but they aren't in packaging that allows you to know what's inside.  After seeing the boxes at Toy Fair.... (see below)

...the packaging does look somewhat like that of the Kubricks line.  I think these boxes are slightly larger though.  The price point is also much better.

Dammit!  I'm in.  Saw their whole lineup down here at SDCC and these things look a lot cooler than I was expecting.  Tiny little suckers, but very sweet!  So, who's joining me?!  We're gonna have to get a fat trading network going on these things, what with all the blind packs and crap...

There's 8 different Stormtroopers BTW.   :o

I'm definitely going to have extras from wave 1 & 2.  I've got orders on a case of each right now.
