MicroForce
« on: May 23, 2006, 02:31 PM »
I've got some microforce figures coming to me to customize.  When I bought these, I'd just found out that there are 3 different microladies types (small, med, and large busts).

Is there only 1 microman size?

Also, now I see there is a microSISTER.  What is the difference here?  I need something like a micro-kid (male and female).  Do they make such a thing?

thanks

There is only one Microman size. He is 4" tall. The Microladies actually come in four chest sizes. (S,M,L,XL) The XL is pretty unusable for most applications.

The Microsisters are a little shorter than the microlady. MicroSisters are 3 3/4" while the MicroLadies are 4". There are a little better jointed but look more childlike at least to me. Here are pictures of MicroSisters and MicroLadies.

Of course, here is the Microman.

Actually Phrubes, I found a "Massive" material force microman, He has a bigger build and bigger arms, but his legs are about the same. This one is harder to come by though

True, there are bigger special versions of the microman. They come painted, with weapons and gear. They even come with differnt character heads. The ones I'm talking about are the Material Force sets are just blank artist figure studies that are exclusive to TRU in Japan and these are the only size. These are made for customizing.

The web site http://www.microforever.com/ has tons of pictures of other Microman figures.

Actually, I think he means this one:  Massive Microman

It was a TRU Japan freebie, so they are harder to come by as most folks don't sell those.

Sounds like they will be adding it to the regular releases line-up soon though...

Yeah.  Basically the 4" version with the larger torso and bulkier arms used on some of the regular microman figures.

One of my pals is a total Microman nut and I know it took a while tracking it down for his collection since it was a promo/freebie item in Japan.

Massive Microman would make a good Darth Maul (bare chested version).
