Rob is it a total coincidence that we're playing each other Week 1?

Believe me, I didn't have any control over it.

I'd have rather played you in week 13 or something with a potential playoff spot on the line - to keep it interesting and all.

I know the draft is over, so I'm completely cool with leaving it how it is if no one agrees with me - but I think it's a little harsh to penalize a point for a missed 50+ yarder.

Anyone else feel that way?

Since we have 12 teams, wouldn't you two face off in week 12 as well? Granted, not exactly the final week of the regular season, but right in those last few weeks before the playoffs...

Yeah, it's harsh.  And I don't care if you change that.

But, consider this, as long as it's consistent for every team, it really doesn't make a difference.

I know - but some people would make the case (as we've had in the past) that they might have drafted differently based on the settings.

I'm going to change it, just for the 50+ yarders, and if there's a big stink about it I'll put it back how it was before.

Good.  I hope you're okay with my steal of a 3rd round pick Terrell Owens playing in the preseason game tonight too.

Oh I have no doubt he'll be in fine physical shape by next week - local talk is that he's probably exaggerated the injury to get out of practice.

What I do think though, is that Parcells will have him on the bench by week 8.  If the Cowboys don't win (and with their absolutely pathetic O-line it's a strong possibility) T.O. will start running his mouth and causing tons of trouble, just like he has everywhere he's ever been.

Yet again?

You got beat by Kev last year (no disrespect Kev) and the year before that when Rob won you finished 12th.

"Great football mind"?  More like "mind of a football".

 ;)
