It depends on what you collect most. I myself stick to 3 3/4" figs and vehicles.  The new sideshow collectibles 12" figs are awesome, but I don't want to spend that money on something I don't currently collect. Whatever keeps your interest over time is what I say.

Thats part of the problem I have almost everything i want from the vintage line. I have pre-ordered all the Sideshow and am up to date on the 3 3/4. I need to find those random obscure things that fit inbetween. Its rough wanting to spend money and not finding anything to buy.

I'm too far in most respects on vintage to share your feelings.  I do get that way with modern stuff though.

Just put the cash aside, something will crop up.  You can always buy me a trilogo Endor Pursuit if you're really bored.

There's always Gentle Giant or Master Replicas, you don't really need to "get into" those. Just pick up a few bust ups/mini busts/sabers that represent your favorite charactors and away you go.  ;)

You can always augment your loose collection with a few really ugly bootlegs. They make great conversation pieces.  ;)

That's probably your best option if you're holding out for Vlix.

How about going for an unpainted micro run?  Those can be pretty attainable and affordable if you leave out the unproduced ones.  They don't take up a lot of room and can display fairly nicely.
