I'm gearing up for a bitch-fest on the Padme if she's pre-posed, but not the droids (well, not yet anyway).  I love the concept of a de-cloaking chameleon droid like that...  Kind of like Predator.

And speaking of Predator, I got the Alien Vs. Predator Snap Kit figures from Hot Toys, and one of the Preds is a cloaked "clear plastic" figure.  It's sort of cheesey (no cheesier than a holographic figure though or a spirit figure), but at the same time the effect turned out cool too...  It makes a neat variation of the toy, and fits in cool like he's stalking someone in the Cantina or something.  So the idea of the Chameleon Droid de-cloaking is neat.  I wish they'd make a completely "cloaked" one though and release it with a completely uncloaked one then at some point for the droid army builders.  A "clear" one would be a neat one though I think.

Me too. And I'd usually be there, but from what I can see, this scuplt is actually a good pre-pose.

If Padme is pre-posed, it'll make the 800th sucky Padme. ::)

I'm more worried about the articulation on the Chameleon Droids.

I'm pretty psyched about this set too.   Padme looks good to me from what we can see.  Can't wait to see clearer pics.

I do wish we had also gotten an animated Padme before they decided to abandon that line.

well we can all say from what weve seen it will either be VERY good and well-articulated (if it can strike the two-handed pistol pose and go back to a neutral)  8) or super craptacular (pre-posed statue)  :P. im pretty excited about the chameleon droids and they should be fine unless they are made of styrofoam   ::).

That's like saying SA Clones have too much articulation...  It cannot exist!  :)

Seriously though, I can appreciate Barriss Offee or Luminara Unduli from 2002 for what they are in sculpt, but at the end of the day they're nothing more than pretty statues to me and a let down, so even if the pose looks cool I'll be down on the figure if she can't be posed at least as much as the Droid Factory Chase Padme figure at a minimum.  :(

Can't wait!
Not for the Padme.
Not for C3PO
Not for R2-D2
But for those Chameleon Droids.
I love them.
Just another addition to my new droid army!
FOR THE REPUBLIC!
I love the 212th

we might expect more but droid factory chase padme's poseability was actually pretty good, one of my favorite saga1 figures-except for the face  :P

in QnA hasbro just said that snowbunny padme is 'not pre-posed, but has normal articulation'. weird wording, but YAY! i guess we dont have to worry about this figure sucking anymore, or at least, worry less about it sucking until we al have her.  8)
