Heads up...Entertainmnet Earth has a new picture of Wave 4.  The Concept Vader looks much better than he did at Toy Fair.  In fact, it even looks like he has a ripped up cape!

Damn, JJ! I was just about to post those same pics!!!  ::)

Yeah, he really looks a whole heck of a lot better. Thanks, Hasbro, I was a little concerned initially because I am a concept completist this year, and I was gonna 'have to' buy him, but now I want to have to. He's really been fixed up.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see much of a difference on the Vader, save for the cape.

Everything's accurate but the ribbing/piping to the body suit...  The boots, gloves, helmet, cape, holster, saber and stuff are spot-on...  It's the ribbing of the costume that I think is the only thing I'm still not sure on if I like it or not.  Part of me digs it but the art shot there doesn't have piping to the pants/sleeves.

The lack of cuts in his cape was the biggest problem I initially had with the Concept Vader, so I'm very excited to see Hasbro make that improvement.  I'll be buying a minimum of three.

If concept figures start showing up in some bulk, I'm really debating a a carded set of them then...  I wouldn't mind that really.  Some I want more than a couple of loose but like if I could get a carded set easily I don't see why a carded set wouldn't be nice, especially as a huge fan of McQuarrie Art.

I am with you. I am shooting for this, with an open set as my optional.

Man this is gonna be hard with the case mix the way it is.

Yep, that's an excellent idea. I am doing that this year, because the packaging and figs inside look SUPER. So far I've only got McStormy and McFett (well duh thatd be all anyone has) and they look super!
Im also collecting them all carded because they may be great figures loose but I just dont see anywhere they would fit in with any other loose figures. I may get a couple loose chewies though, just because theyre such good freaky grunt ape people to hang out with my cantina or palace figs.

P.S. I don't think that this is the best year for Lukes ever as some people have said, because the one in Wave 3 has an awful headsculpt, the one in Wave 4 has a counterpart from 04 that is way better, and the Bespin Luke is just attrocious in my opinion.

I think this year belongs to Boba!!! VOTC Boba is finally getting repacked in Saga Legends, Animated Debut Boba looks amazing, and Concept Boba is terrific.  ;D  8) Oh, and he's the little head next to all the UGH promotion stickers...  :)

Cool... but I think I would have done it the other way around.  The Starkiller Hero idea is pretty obscure, and would make more sense as an exclusive than the CIV Luke.

Now is the guy holding the lightsaber supposed to be Han or Kenobi?

Both Han and Kenobi...Again, Lucas split the concept characters into two, or more, characters...It's odd that Hasbro call the female a Jedi.  I wonder if they're going to give her a saber...
