Yeah. I belive that in the SW Chronicles there's pictures of the Fett costume in all white.  So they went that far with that idea.  I think that they thought it was too close to a Stormtrooper, so Johnston HAND PAINTED the Fett costume that we saw in the ESB.  How cool is that?

In a way, they could be a simple  repaint somewhere else in the line, and not a McQ fig.

Boba & Lando:

What the hell is that alien on the left supposed to be?  It's not Chewie and looks nothing like an Ugnaught.  Were there originally supposed to be more aliens on Bespin that got cut in production?

Look at his saggy butt! He rocks!
He is the coolest frumpy mongaloid alien, I would love to see him as a figure, he is just so useless! He would be a fine addition indeed.

It looks like they took the alien out of the cage to put Solo in there.  Msut be a real small town with only one jail cell.

Maybe someone already mentioned it but that Han Solo capture sure looks a lot like Lucas' THX 1138 movie or whatever that was called.

I was looking through my Chronicles book and thought it would be nice to get some of the John Mollo (Uniform and Military Advisor for Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back)...the helmet they use are pretty neat.  Not exactly the Art Deco stuff of the other guys, but really interesting to me.  Add to that the guy has illustrated uniform guides for almost every major conflict on the planet since the American Revolution and you can see where some of the influences come from.

Recent issue of Insider had a pretty interesting McQuarrie design pic of a Royal Guard. Maybe this could be one of the concept figures for next year? I would post an image of it except I didn't buy the issue. I just flipped through it.
The Force is strong in this one,... too bad his action figure sucks.

They're doing them alright, and go figure (hooray Hasbro) the first one is a repainted McQuarrie Stormtrooper.   ::)

The only benefit is that the McTrooper was a rough find, but yeah expanding the line would've been nice alongside the McTrooper repacked.  Great paintjob on it though.

I'm geeked for the freakish Chewbacca and that poncho'd "Good Bad & Ugly" Fett that I hope is the incarnation they run with.  If I get those two I'll be content with concept figures.  Vader and the gang will be ok but Chewbacca is such a wildly different character that I almost consider it a unique character.  Fett though I just envision having extra sets of armor, and that's just his coolest duds he puts on now and then. :)

Actually, I think that this concept trooper is SO much better than the first release.  The new paint job  is a drastic improvement.  When I got the fisrt concept trooper, I felt that Hasbro went out of their way to make it look as much like a regular trooper as possible.  The black suit under the armor is seen nowhere in the McQuarrie art.  This new version with the warm grey is much more on the money.

I was never crazy about the idea of doing concept figures. They just entice me.

Huh? If they entice you, wouldn't that mean that you really want them?

I guess being "crazy about them" is one level higher than being just merely "enticed."
