I know as soon as the put the concept figures out and I see them....well.  I will cave and buy each one.  It would be interesing if the use the green skinned alien Han Solo.  The girl Luke Skywalker?  Hmmm....

I'm glad they are giving these a try- the year of the repack was tough to watch (the pegs are still loaded with them here in Minnesota). The new figures for the most part sold through.
Any new energy focused  on the 3 3/4 inch line is welcome in my book. I may not like/buy them all, but at least it is something new.

Huh? If they entice you, wouldn't that mean that you really want them?

I guess being "crazy about them" is one level higher than being just merely "enticed."

 :)

Damn, you miss one word and it screws everything up.  ;D

They DO NOT entice me. Now it makes much more sense.

What the hell is that alien on the left supposed to be?  It's not Chewie and looks nothing like an Ugnaught.  Were there originally supposed to be more aliens on Bespin that got cut in production?

Had to bump this up now that the McFett pictures are out.  I am so happy that Hasbro stuck closely to the McQuarrie design, and didn't try to alter it.  I think that the only failure with the McStormtrooper was that originally Hasbro tried to make it look too much like the movie version.  The Saga paintjob had a black "undersuit" that is just not visible in the original, art the 30AC paint job is much more accurate.

After seeing the McFett, I am so excited about what's next.  We know we'll get Vader and Chewie,  They should be great.  Maybe we'll see a bearded Han, female Threepio, and tripod R2.  Who know what kinda crazy crap Hasbro will bless us with! 2007 is going to be great!

Aren't there going to be 8 of these this year?? The ones that I'd like to see come out after Fett and Stormie are: Chewie, Bearded Han w/ lightsaber, 3-PO & R-2 (a Droid 2-pack), Vader, Lando, Luke (either female or lightsaber duel version). If not a droid 2-pack, I'd prefer Landro instead of Artoo.

Boba Fett looks interesting, but i still have no love for these concept figures. I would prefer EU figures over these.

concept rebel trooper?  ;D  Sad thing is it'll probably be better then any of the rebel troops that were actually in the movie that hasbro has produced.

So we have the following and it looks like they covered pretty much everything:

McQuarrie Figures

Wave 6: Snowtrooper
Wave 8: Rebel Trooper

I wonder what rebel we'll get, and why do a Rebel and Snowtrooper?  Odd choices to me...  I mean, they'll sell I'm sure.  I'm ok with both, as they'll add trooper diversity honestly.  The Snowtrooper, if it's the design I think it is, was used as an Imp. Troop type in EU material...  The Rebel though is really weird.  Might make a cool Rebel Scout for Hoth or it'll make a weird variation on the Fleet Trooper perhaps...  Or I guess it could be Endor too which wasn't too different than the final design.

Either way the whole Concept line has me kind of geeked...  Plus Holiday Special Boba...  I'm Pumped.

After seeing the lineup for this year i've decided to collect only the McQuarrie figures and the Holiday Fett. I really like the idea of them and it's a nice change of scenery from the constant repaints/resculpts...
