I just checked my TRU for NFL 13.  All they got is NBA Legends.  The pegs (and the shelves, and the floor, and the rafter) are loaded with NBA Legends.

I don't want it.  Doesn't seem like anyone wants it.  Last year's NBA regular series is still there, and they're sitting there at $4.66 a piece.  Even the good figures in the wave. 

I don't know where they're gonna put NFL 13 when it gets out.  I should start checking bins and endcaps and **** because God knows NBA isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Phew, that's good then. I'm hoping for NFL14 I won't have to chase down a Reggie Bush variant. Though I would love if they threw in a Saints Drew Brees as a hidden chase...

Yes, Drexler in the Houston Rockets uniform is indeed a chase figure and might be the only really desirable one of the bunch.  Legends basketball is pretty neat to me, but I'm probably a shade older than most collectors and this series is a stretch for me.

What's the ratio of a chase figure to a regular figure?  For example, say they produced 50,000 regular Carson Palmers.  How many chase variant Carson Palmers are there made?

I never got into the Chase thing.  It doesn't interest me much.

I don't think they ever revealed the ratio to any degree.  I'd guess it's maybe 10:1 or something like that.  They're really not rare, nor do many command much in the way of secondary value these days.  Patience is a virtue for buyers, that much is certain.  Leinart might be at a lower ratio, same too with Moss, but regular chase figures like the orange Palmer won't really be rare.  I do like it though.

I was really into the chase figures at one point, but now it's much more that I prefer the dark uniforms to the white.  As much for display purposes as anything else.  Lining up a bunch of white uniformed figures really isn't that interesting.  Alternating white with dark is cool, IMO.  At the same time though I probably own about 10% of the number of sportspicks I used to. 

Would still love to have that #13 Jets Selanne though
