Star Wars: Old Friends ... Part Three (NEW 7-29)
« on: July 29, 2006, 11:19 AM »
Here is my third chapter of the Old Friends series.  Out of all of the PNs I've done thus far, I've been the most pleased with this one.  I just really enjoyed taking elements of EU and coming up with the pre-OT story, and enjoyed the "What If?" element with Zimmus, I think my camera shots are starting to improve a bit also with this one.
Unfortunately, this is also the PN where I only had 3 different people comment on it, over at RS, out of like 130 views.   Sort of a kick in the nuts ... but I guess you can't force somebody to like something they just don't. :-\

If you get a chance, please drop some critique ... I'd love to discuss some of the elements of this PN with JDs

I like the "Tarkin Survived" thing going on, even though he died on the DS. :P

LOL ... yep, ol' Tarky did bite it in ANH.  But what if he didn't?  I've always liked Tarkins character; he always has that cold, calculating look about him.  Lucas seems to have an affinity for killing of great bad guys early on in the various trilogies, ala Maul in One.  Just thought I'd bring one back to life for fun  ;D

Yeah,Dooku was boring. The Yoda vs. Mual fight would of been so much sweeter than Yoda vs. Dooku. :o

Hi Artoo,

The next one should hopefully be up by this weekend.  Once again, not heavy on action, but it'll move the story along and chapter 5 should have some pretty decent stormie body counts  ;D

Thanks for the interest!

When is the next chapter?
