I just picked up my parcel at the Post Office, my Cosmonauts Kubricks arrived.  8)

Wow, the box these Kuby's come in are huge.  :o A very nice set to add to my collection and at a good price.  ;D

This being my first official order received from RoBBy.jp, I did get dinged with customs on the full amount which was expected so I will get dinged with Series 5.

That set is awesome, and hell yeah, that box is huge!
I have mine set up near the black hole and aliens kubs for a little space theme.
I love all the little details on this set, plus the doggie!  :D

I've been building up a pretty full list of Kubricks, and I've decided to make it available on the web for reference/correction:
* http://zachd.com/kubricks.html
Right now, it's a text-only list organized by line.  I'm *thinking* about adding in links to pictures, but that will obviously take a loooong time.  I had been trying to figure out what Kubricks were available at what point, and accidentally started building up this list in order to have an English-language list.

If this helps people, awesome.  If you want to help out, I'd appreciate it.  Generally stuff that I know I don't know is marked with a '?'.  :)

That is an amazing list!  As one of the checklist guys here at JD, I can see that you put a lot of work into that.   8)

Well the maximates have been officially announced with the insane price tag of 85.00. They will be statues. I really wanted Galactus and the Sentinel but not for that price.

WTF?!?! I was wanting to get these two as well, but if they are going to try to gouge, they can keep their stuff.

Toynewsi.com has some info (and pic) up of the upcoming "Minimate Max" Galactus coming in 2006.  I haven't bought any minimates for awhile now, since collecting money has been going elsewhere, but I was always tempted to get more.  The Galactus would be pretty cool, although if I remember right, these are fairly pricey aren't they?

I'm going to be very tempted by the Galactus, but at the same time I think I like the scale of the 18" Marvel Legends Galactus more.

I *love* the pics of the MiniMate Galactus though - that's really great design.

EDIT: I take that back: upon further review, I found that that's a statue, not a figure.  That sucks.  =\

I offered over on KW to get these for people, I figured 2 or 3 would want
them or didn`t get them yet.
I think I ended up ordering 8 sets!  ;D
If I have one left, I`ll keep it, I just want Wonka really.
Wish they would get more Batman Begins sets in, tons of people still
need that one and they seem to be sold out most places, or cost over
50 bucks.

They call it a statue but it seems to be partly articulated with jointed elbows. If you look at the Wolverine and Spiderman, they look like the exact make of the smaller counterpart with full articulation. I have a feeling that the term "statue" is used incorrectly...
I really like these larger Mini-mates but the $85 msrp is kinda steep for only 8" of figure. If I can find them for cheaper (under $50), i'll definitely pick them up...
