Yeah hands down that's one of the coolest Mandalorians I've seen.  Great paint scheme used with that wicked McQuarrie helmet.

I would have bought the EE Mandolorian set if they looked half as good as your set. Very superior. I also like the camo one with the McQ helmet. You should package these it like the EE set.

Thanks everyone! That's high praise coming from a couple vets...

I picked up a couple McSnowies this week (one carded, one opener).  They have some great pieces that could go into my next round of Mandos.  I'll have to find a few more for fodder.

I agree the McSnowie is going to make great custom fodder. I just wish it was possible to find them in decent quantities. Of course, we could get someone to cast pieces from it for us.

Very nice work on all those different figures from September, Sith's Herald. It's nice to see some cleaner paint apps, too. Which are in quite stark contrast to your Mandalorians! Very cool designs there, man. My favourites are # III and # IV. Mando III looks very mean, definitely like someone you don't want to have as an enemy. Where'd you make that splendid jetpack from?

Mando IV looks really tough, and the skull tat is a great detailed touch. Did you apply a decal for that, or hand paint it? Mando IV also has something Mad Max 2 over him  8)

I look forward to your future Mandalorians (and other creations, of course)

Thanks Phruby and Incom.  I have not been customizing much lately.  I've switched back to 2D for a while to finish up some old works in progress.  I recently posted some images of them on my blog at the Star Wars Artist's Guild.  You can see them here.

As for your questions Incom, let' see...  On Mando III, I think the jetpack was from Spy Kids.  On Mando IV, I hand painted the mythosuar skull with some flat black Testors acrylic and a very fine brush.  I only had to redo it three times.  ;)

I'm planning on throwing together a customizing party with some of the locals in Feb.  I should have more then.  Until then, I'll probably keep working on the drawings.

Yay! Customizing party.  Either your or my place will work.  I'm trying my hand at casting again this next week, so hopefully I'll have a few extras I can bring you.

Hey S_H, just checked the SWAG! Wow, some amazing drawings there, including yours. Very cool ship designs, and I love Dutch, the Wookiee! Did you make a custom figure of him as well? (and would you mind if someone else gave it a shot?)

Yes I did do a custom for him.  Here's the drawing and the figure.

I would LOVE to see someone else's take on one of my characters!

Time for some new stuff!

After quite some time off from my starfighter ugly, The WIP, I think I finally finished it.  Though, since it's name is WIP (work in progress) I may go back to do more later.

This weekend I worked on a few more.  The first is my take on a Generation II ARC Trooper.

Next, I continue to build my Mandolorain army.  This was a Zartan figure with some Jango parts.  He's a gunslinger named Nat Raz.

My final new piece is a femal Mandolorian warrior name Starqe Iller.

Enjoy!.  Let me know what you think!

The Nat Raz from Zartan figure is my favorite - very nice work.  Hope you can give me a few tips...any idea when the next custom event might take place?
