I have nothing but good things to say about the point change.

 :D

I'm guessing.  LOL.  I think we're ok going forward, the league is still very tight from top to bottom so there shouldn't be too many issues.  At least I hope not.

Now to wait and hear from Jamie and Jason :-X

I actually had 11 points from my guys last night...the points change didn't really do anything to me

Under the new scoring - my team last night scored 3.3 points.

I was credited 1.8 points - which is 1.5 less than my team earned.   But I was +3 before, which used to be worth 3 points, and is now worth 1.5 - so they deducted the .5 points per +1 - meaning that it did work retroactively.

If your score didn't change at all, maybe you were +0 before?

Yes, this seems to be the case, a retroactive readjustment that messes the scores up for only a single day.  So your vote then still counts.  Interesting to note Jason had about the biggest impact negatively from his suggestion.

Now if I could only figure out why some days people get 0.69999999999999999999 points, all might be well.

BTW Jeff, I have Gaborik and Havlat in my other pool, so I share your pain (well, sort of, only one IR in that league so I dropped Gaborik already :-\)

We were both for the change, so I'm pretty sure we aren't allowed to complain  ;)

Ayup.  And thanks.  That went smoother than expected and I do think it was a change for the better.  I know I factored in +/- into my drafting strategy but it remains a factor, just a smaller one.

I can still pitch a fit if you'd like... after all I did lose FIVE AND A HALF FRICKIN' POINTS!   >:( >:(!!

That's it, I'm never playing fantasy sports with you ******* again!

was that OK?  I can pitch a bigger fit if you'd like... :P

It was ok.  Kind of like a fit a Canadian might throw.  So really, sort of lame. :-*

Well, technically you are right - after all, being Minnesotan is about as close as you can get to Canadian without going over...

Yeah, you guys will be the second state we adopt after the US tumbles into economic ruin.  North Dakota will be first, if only out of sympathy.  Fargo.  Eh.

Anyone who follows these guys more closely have any idea what's up with Zetterberg sucking it up (at least as far as fantasy hockey goes) so far this year?  We're talking my 3rd round pick here.

I expected more than 5.6 points at this point for the guy.

It's a slump I'd say, nothing more.  It's early, who knows what's in his head.  I sure wouldn't be thinking about dumping him, as a guy already did in my office pool :o  Thankfully I was number 2 on the waiver wire and have acquired him 8)

Maybe it's just your kiss of death Rob.  Consider Zetterberg to be your personal Texas Ranger in the NHL :-X

I'd hate to ruin anyone's career through fantasy sports.

I should stop playing.
