I guess Rob has a point, if they end up reducing the price at some point I'll probably get one.  But no way when it's gonna run me about a hundred bucks with tax included.

Yeah, I learned my lesson on stuff like this when I shelled out $155.00 for an EXCLUSIVE and LIMITED TO 5,000 Imperial Shuttle that later ended up at kbkids for $60.00.

Good point.  Another reason I did shell out the cash for the Shuttle is because it wasn't something I had several of (like I do of the AT-AT).  I will kick myself in my own nuts if I pay full price for the AT-AT.  Just can't justify it.

And I really, really hope that's not supposed to be a Jango-face under there.

I hate to break it to you but....it is Jango under there.

I never intended to get this myself, but seeing this pic actually kinda disgusts me :(.  No offense to the prequel fans out there, but I like my trilogies completely separate.  To my mind back in '83 (and to this day) those were regular soldiers, not clones.

So how many people have changed their minds on buying this now that we've seen the "new" pack in figure?

I have to say no right now, $90 can buy a lot of basic figures (well, not as much as it used to...)

I have to say no as well.  I think they did a nice job with this set.  However, there are other things to buy.

I agree with the basic figures. At $6 each, that's 15 Sandies, or Clones, or whatever else.  :o

I will have to pass. I don't have an AT-AT, but I find the flip visor Biker Scout rather lame. I think a removable helmet would of been a much better choice. Why oh why would a helmet such as the Biker Scout's helmet have a flip visor? ::)
The Force is strong in this one,... too bad his action figure sucks.

I was already pretty sure I wouldn't buy it - but that pack-in is so lame that the clearance price that it would take for me to buy one is getting lower and lower.

I'm thinking $20 or $30 tops, and you can bet that visor would never be raised.

It's actually film accurate that way, as opposed to the Jango Fett face, which isn't film accurate, since the only Scout that we ever saw* with the helmet face flipped up was the Rebel that was putting it on as a disguise.  If you look closely at the side of both the prop helmet and the action figure, you can see where the face mask is "hinged" to the overall helmet construction.

*"saw" is an operative term, since it was only for about two seconds before the wipe to the Death Star, over the shoulder of Han and Leia, and from the back at an angle. :)

I think to have made this better, all they would have had to do is pack in two VOTC Stormtroopers instead.   Damnit Hasbro.

Chewie, I think that to have made this better, they could have done the following:

1.  Pack in 2 AT-AT Drivers AND a VTSC Biker Scout WITH a Speeder Bike.
2.  Lower the price to about 60 bucks, tops.
3.  Rerelease the VOTC Stormtrooper, clean, on a card already and continue releasing it until the cows come home.

Or, in my ideal world, they could have scrapped it altogether and use the resources to make an AT-TE.  ;D

No one has mentioned the fact that the At-At still has the lame electonic consul that takes away troop transport space. >:( Now I feel like I'm going to be spending $100 for one figure.
