Man was this wicked awsome. Sin City blew me away, so different from what I expected, and yet I loved it to the bone. Marv was so great. He seriously made this movie what it was. And what a cast! Holy crow, so many gorgeous actors, and beautiful filming and design. I'm gonna pick up the charachters from this movie, sans Yellow Bastard. Ugly ugly ugly. :-X

I'm by no means a Ryan Reynolds fan, but with an R rating, "Amityville" looks somewhat promising. Just try and black out the other 4 horrendous stains on the namesake, and things should be peachy.

Um, anyway...

What, calling out rubbish casting for a rubbish 2005 movie isn't valid subject matter?

I just have *****'s there, I don't even know what you were trying to say!!
I just figured it was another "hottie" type thing...
I don't think they are trying to make an Oscar caliber film there...

Sorry about that... I'm a little hotwired today.  :-\

I was calling BS on her as Daisy Duke. I mean, at the very least she could have gotten into the role a tiny bit, being that Daisy is a 70's icon, and gone brunette for the part. I know it is supposed to be a stupid summer movie, but there should be at least a tiny bit of effort to make a proper homage. That's not Daisy Duke. That's Jessica Simpson wearing Daisy Dukes. Bah.

I shall now go chill out.

I went and saw Downfall a few weeks ago - very incredible film, I recommend it highly, especially if you're at all interested in WWII.

I'm with you Jared.

I hate her as Daisy only slightly more than I hate her as Jessica, which is a lot.

I'm not going to see this movie, unless I'm stuck in a hotel on business without a rental car and no change for the vending machine and it's the only thing on the piece of crap television in the room... and the wifi is down.

Yeah, Dukes looks like a cheesy movie but Knoxville and that other dude from American Pie are pretty funny.

And Jess is easy on the eyes  :o

I admit, I'll rent this when it comes out.

Saw "Sin City", well, around 1/3rd of it anyway... I don't like gory violence, so I didn't watch a lot of it... Visually, from what I saw, it was really cool, and I liked the plot elements, but just not the gore...
Then I saw "The Upside of Anger"- which is w/ Kevin Costner and Joan Allen- and I really enjoyed that... it's a drama-dy...

I love Jessica.  Goofy, blonde and sexy.

Anyways, I saw Amityville tonight - not too bad!  Very sick, kinda scary.  Definitely scared the hell out of my wife.

This was probably the best horror flick I've seen in quite some time.

Ryan Reynolds was a great in it.

I finally saw Sin City this weekend and loved it! I'm not so much into gore or violence or comic book movies for the sake of their respective genera's. I'm just into good movies and this was that in spades. I was very surprised that I found myself liking the Micky Rourke segment the best.

Next up, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
