Thanks for the head's up Sharon!  Hopefully everyone who I wasn't able to help out at Comic Con can get one now!

But why are the Bust-up sets $2 cheaper than at the Con?  That's lame...   ::)

I expect the difference covers California Sales Tax

But the Luke bust is still the usual $45, so I don't think that's it...  Like I said, lame!  I want my TWO DOLLARS!  (kudos to anyone who knows the movie that's from...)

I ordered and everything went fine.  Puzzling.

My guess is they mistook Dave for a Canadian and decided to screw him over.

The other possibility is that it's a glitch in the software, and all the orders we placed went through anyway.  If so, I should have about 6-7 busts and bust ups coming ::)

as silly as this sounds... there might be some truth to this statement. i received this email today:

Thank you for being patient with us while we get down to the root of the problem.... blah blah blah... We believe we have taken care of the AVS (address verification system) issue we have in our shopping cart.... blah blah blah.... We have confirmed now that our shopping cart payment is working correctly with a foreign address.

what? foreign address? i live in friggin' new jersey, you idiots!!

Bossk arrived recently, not sure if I posted that or not. What a fan-freakin-tastic bust! Absolutely fantastico!

Just got a shipping confirmation for my Clone Wars Yoda maquette as well, very anxious to get him.

I have a question on the upcoming Stormtrooper bust. How many different arms  does this piece come with? (sorry if this has been discussed already, I am still a Gentle Giants newbie) Perhaps I will have to order more than one? :P

from what i've read/seen, there will be a total of 6 different arm combinations available for the stormtrooper. i don't think there have been any pics put up of all of them yet, but i'll see if i can find any confirmation of this information. i had to order an entire case myself...  :-\

I did a preorder for one.  While multiples would be cool, just not practical for me right now.

I should also point out that Gentle Giant's customer service kept in pretty much constant contact and actually resolved the problem, allowing me to finally get an order in for a Luke.  I am pleased with their efforts on this one.

I just grabbed Bossk from Suncoast yesterday. Have they carried the SW busts previously? This is my first one (well, not first to attempt to get, but first to own... screw SDCC and raffles). So, this means I'm into a new line!  :)

What I think I'll be doing is just getting OT bounty hunters. I take it Fett is going to run me some cash on Ebay, right? After that, there's IG88 coming soon. Any tips for the newbie?

How much was Suncoast charging?  This is the first I've heard of them actually carrying Gentle Giant product.

Never knew about Suncoast having Star Wars minibusts, but I was familiar with them carrying GG Matrix stuff...

My Clone Wars Yoda maquette arrived a few days ago. Fantastic piece! I really like the Clone Wars cartoon, and its pretty much the only prequel stuff I'm in to.

Suncoast's price was $45.00. I saw them again today at a different Suncoast store on display with the rest of their SW product. I'd been in on Thursday and they weren't there then, so this must be a new thing for them I guess.

I cracked him open today and I'm really happy with him. I can't believe I haven't given the line more consideration until now.

Not really sure where this belongs, but I thought it was interesting.

Episode III supposedly, looks consistent with the art/previews.  Just thought the crew here would find it interesting.
