Hey, it's Friday and I have 5 minutes left ....what else do you expect me to do???  And as for Princess Leia - I assume that means I missed out on ordering her-damn it.  Now I have to go snoop around the web and see who has her left.

Though I don't get very many of these - the Queen Amidala one looks like a winner and I will happily add that one to my collection.  Also, does anyone know when Princess Leia will be available to order?  I would have thought that one would have been up by now....

The Amidala isn't part of the mini-bust line.  It's part of the smaller Classics line which should be coming out in the next few months.  Amidala is in the second wave along with a Snowtrooper and Momaw Nadon.

Oh, and I got word that I am hooked up with Commander Cody!!!

That dang Cody bust got me. I had sold all but a few of my GG busts with the intention of no more. Then I win the Jango bust here (believe me I'm not complaining) and fall for Cody with the light up Sidious. I did some minor shopping on the web, then made some scalpers day with a BIN. At least it was one of the more reasonably priced ones out there.  ::)

So it's smaller than the mini-busts but larger than the bust-ups?  I seen a LOTR Legolas in a picture and I am wondering if that is the same size as Amidala.  Any price point on these announced yet?

PS:  Congrats on the Cody score!!  It looks like a sweet one to get!

Thanks!  It looks like I might be able to get all of the Clone Commanders at cost or reasonably close to cost.

As for the Classics line, there's a thread on those already HERE.  And Jeff posted a comparison shot so that you can get a feel for the scaling...

The telltale sign on the classics busts are the bases.  they're pretty much identical, and it looks much more like a pedastal than a base.  And they also tend not to have arms, whereas most if not all of the current offerings in the mini-bust line have arms.  It this Legolas is the one you're talking about, it looks like it's a classic bust and not a mini-bust.  You can also tell from the small tag next to it...it's got the price on it ($30), and that's the price of the classic busts.

No, but dropping of 90% of the basic line leaves me itching to spend sometimes. I think I'll have a beer now to celebrate, and another when I light Sidious up.

Yup-that's the Legolas I was refering to (but a much better shot than the first one I saw).  Thanks for the link to the thread.

It's at a convention in Baltimore - other than that I haven't been paying much attention.

Does anyone know when the Bacara bust will go up for preorder? I might be near Baltimore the first week of Sept, and would pay to go to the show to get a bust at cost.
