Someone please find out what the deal is. I got the Star Wars Card (Yoda), charged on it to get my Vader statue, and now I am awaiting for it.

Please do not say that the deal changed!!! I have all the original paperwork printed out from the Bust offer. If it has changed I will be sending a copy of it to the company to get my Vader Bust!

For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

I emailed them, hopefully Ill get a reply soon.

Ill be doing the same thing Binks! The same deal is still available as a link on their website, so hopefully it means we will still get them. If not, Im raising hell, because its the only reason I got the card to begin with. You better belive Im not spending 7500 bucks to get the dang thing

That Vader bust is sweeeeeet!   :o

I can't imagine that you would have to spend $7500 just to be able to get that Vader bust.  That doesn't make any sense.  Who really has $7500 to spend with how the economy has been recently?  I know I don't.

Yeah, their rewards system isn't a whopping great deal. Basically you get one point per dollar spent, and it takes thousands and thousands of points to get anything even halfway worthwhile

Definitely insane to say the least.
I tried as did my wife to get the CC though we both received the "Yoou have too many revolving accounts" denial.

Funny we own a house, two cars, a number of cc's and just refinanced... OH well...

The 7500 points is absurd IMHO. I mean the way I see it is that bust costs you $7500!!! Uh... yeah...  ::)
Gotta love me or leave me alone....

Yup! :)

Got an email, and the original deal still holds true if you signed up and requested it. This new "deal" is intended for all those who had the card before the deal went into play. Im still going to call and double check with them though, but I cant find the phone number

This new "deal" is intended for all those who had the card before the deal went into play.

That would apply to me...kind of sucks since I got nothing for signing up when it first came out.  Heck, I didn't even get the actual "picture" card until a few months later!!  Geesh...
Oh well, free stuff is free stuff.  I just used some of my points for the Obi-wan figure since I can't find that one around here.

Attack of the Clone Busts
« Reply #41 on: August 14, 2003, 05:40 PM »
Well, they arrived today. My case of six Clone Trooper mini busts. I must say, Im pretty impressed, and love the extra selection of pieces.

In case you dont know, each bust includes:

1 bust, right arm attached
1 head (duh)
1 hand holding viewers
1 hand holding small blaster
1 hand holding large rifle
1 arm pointing
1 arm to hold the blaster or rifle

They are packed 6 to a case, in a 3:2:1 ratio in white, yellow and red respectively.

I actually have a beef with these though. Maybe its their paint, maybe its the paper, maybe its the 102 degree heat index, but every single bust I opened today, the wrapping paper was completely stuck to it. Imagine painting something and wrapping tissue paper around it while its drying. It was that bad. I had to scrub them all in warm water with a tooth brush, and there are still a couple of nooks and crannies I missed. I'm going to write to GG about this, hoping they can remedy the problem with later busts.

Well, onto the pictures. I tried to get as many variations in poses as I could, and this pretty much covers it. The only other poses would be holding the rifle and pointing, and holding the binoculars and using the gun holding arm (which would hold nothing).

Be warned, they are kind of big, and may take a while:

And also, just for fun, the extremely rare chase paint variant: the turquoise clone:

If you havent figured out that I'm kidding, well, I am. I just held the flash too close to the convention exclusive blue Clone bust.

Eric: I think you're exactly right. We didn't expect this.

Thats bull****. You make 1,000 of something then divide it over two of th US's biggest conventions that will see about 40,000 people and you don't expect it to be popular?

Anyway, I've already given up buying any more of these because at $50 a piece, it just too hard to keep up with.

At least a deluxe Stormtrooper can have only one version.
