Yup, he's a twenty bucker on the secondary market.  At best.

Looks like Slave Leia might be a problem too... the photos so far of the actual product look really bad compared to the early showings.

There's a thread on spawn.com boards with a bunch of pics of Leia's actual end result.  Pass.  I had a bunch noted on Ebay to watch and I can now easily delete all of those.  The prototype looked great, this, awful.  I guess if it goes down to $20 or so on Ebay I might pick it up still in hopes of lucking into one that doesn't look as bad as the pictures I've now seen, but I think I'll just get the animated maquette instead.

that Lando with Bespin blaster doesn´t match Billy dee Williams likeness on esb.
Gentle Giant achieved great accuracy with the last Wicket Mini bust, wich is much close to an statue if his legs
would have been completed.

Looking to catch up on ordering these?

Buy 1 Gentle Giant item @ EE, get a 2nd at 50% off until March 29th.

According to the details, items may be in stock or available for pre-order, so all the upcoming mini-busts and jumbo Kenner figures should count...  also the deal is stackable (if you order 4, you get 2 @ 50% off).

Traded some football and basketball cards to a friend of a friend for Slave Leia and Oola mini busts on Friday.

A couple nice mini busts announced/available today: The Death Star Gunner and Emperor Palpatine. Anyone else biting on these?

How accurate is the sculpt on that DS Gunner? I don't recall them having a ribbed (for her pleasure) jumpsuits before.

uh huh huh huh...

Not sure on the suit but the vest is nice to see it right for maybe the first time on just about any collectible.  There's a little variety to the suits.  Might be time to pop a DVD in.

Found this shot - looks pretty accurate to me. Time for a new TVC figure me thinks.

Yeah some had a distinctly leathery look to them...  others do not though, and appear to sport the regular coveralls like Hasbro's last gunner.  Interesting that the suit was so textured.  Almost looks like a Stormtrooper undersuit or something.

The lovely Sy Snootles MB is up for pre-order.  Yay!  No goofy CGI look.
