Luke Walton however, there's a nice pickup for plug 'n' play.

Yeah, I read Yahoo's news too :P

Only thing is I'm still trying to figure out why Korver got dropped ???  A few moves later and I think I've resolved my shooting guard issues adequately.  I'm down to three point guards, but I'll live with that.

BTW, Nash is outperforming Paul, but only marginally so at this point.  I'd be happy with either.

According to Yahoo's in-season rankings which changes game by game, weighing all 9 categories that count in our league Nash is the 8th best fantasy basketball player, Arenas is 14th, and Paul brings up the rear with the 32nd ranking.

I guess we'll keep tabs on this throughout the season, but I'm happy with Nash and Arenas.  I'd have taken Paul if he were still around for my 3rd pick.

Yep.  I didn't expect you to go PG/PG so Arenas was a great pickup.  I'd certainly have snagged him had you left him behind.

I like yahoo's rankings, they're informative but only to a point.  I only have two guys in the top 25, one of whom I just picked up.  But I do have 7 in the top 50, so it works out ok.  But you know all that from baseball.  Sometimes a poorly ranked guy fills a hole for you in spite of his other stats.  As long as someone else is picking up the slack.  4-5 guys that are free agents in the top 50 as well.

On the subject of triple doubles, Yao damn near gave me a quadruple double tonight.

35 pts, 17 boards, 7 blocks, 8 turnovers.

Yowzas.

Looks like Amare finally had a solid game tonight.

10 of 14 from the field, 25 points, 14 rebounds, a steal and two blocks

In 24 minutes of play.

Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

And a 24-point home loss to the wretched Knicks.  Fantastic.

I wish we had more roster spots to play so I can use my depth.

Hahaha ... no thanks.  I appreciate the offer, but I'll stick with the Heat and ride out this ****-slide that they're on.

I'll tell you how tight our league is, I just got in and logged into Stat Tracker to see that tonight I've come from 6th place, +9, to unseat Scott and take 1st place.

But will it last until morning?

UPDATE:  I squeezed 10 minutes out of it anyhow  :P

Jesus H. who woke my favorite Frenchman Boris up?

A near triple double with a bunch of steals and blocks to boot.  He lost like 10 pounds of those croissants from the offseason, here in the first 3 weeks.  Is he back?

Funny you posted this, I was just looking at your team and the standings.  Your team is loaded.  But this format is all about combination and balance.  It's way too early for you to be packing it in, one or two free agent signings in the categories you are deficient in could propel you towards the top of the league.

i didn't mean to imply that i was completely giving up, but it is frustrating to be so far behind, when if it was a real team it would kick everyones ass.
