My guys have taken quite a dump over the last week.  True to my normal form, I guess.  :)

Holy ****, I just saw what Andris Biedrins has turned into after I dropped him in the 2nd week of November, and now I wish I didn't look.  Geez, 12, 15, 17 rebounds a night, 5, 6, 7 blocks.

With that Deron Williams pickup, Biedrins really would have been the difference maker for me and I regret giving up on him so fast.

Bah, easy come, easy go.  One hell of a 2 week stretch for him though, damn.

Yeah - thanks for that one.  He's replaced Chris "worthless" Webber in my line up.

His numbers really are shocking.  I had no clue that was going on for the last 2 weeks.

He's this years 2004 Joel Przybilla.

I guess there's a good chance we'll be seeing a changing of the guard soon as Rashard Lewis is going to be out 2+ months for Bug.  Lewis is a rare combination of 3's, FG + FT%, blocks, scoring and steals.  That's not replaceable.

We should be seeing something that may resemble about a 3 way tie for first this time next month.

No ****.  Going on vacation and my team implodes. :o

Lewis: out two months.
J.R. Smith: 10 game suspension
David West: surgery, return unknown.  I got only 7 games from him and he's good.
Monta Ellis: left the game with a shoulder injury, no news yet.

Merry Christmas :-\

We might as well carry Chris Paul off the court with a sprained ankle while we're on a roll here.

And I neglected to mention Sean May as well.  Not at all pleased about Paul though.  Yeesh, it's dwindling pretty thin here.  I was feeling bad about the amount of games I wracked up but now I'm happy.

Craptastic. :-X

Whew!

Just an ankle sprain, missing 2-4 games (which I interpret to be 4-6 games) but he's mostly fine anyway.  Looks like Sczerbiak was out for a while as well, but should be back today.  May's injury is fairly minor and West is claiming to be back sooner rather than later, which would be a nice bonus.  No news on Ellis, though they've got too many body issues in Golden State at that position at the moment so I'm not sure how he would have been going forward in terms of minutes anyway.  Smith is also a concern with the addition of AI.  He was second in scoring (I think) and now will be fighting (and losing) for shots with both Melo and AI.  Whee.

Lewis is the biggest blow by far though, he was having a fantastic year.

I am sooo glad AI is finally back and my Assist and Steal numbers can rebound.  I need to make up some ground in 3's as well and he should help there too.

New sheriff in town, and I project I'll remain there for at least the better part of the evening  ;)

Gerald Wallace is back, baby.  He gets the line of the night:

40 PTS, 14 REB, 6 STL, 4 BLK, .556 FG%, .909 FT%

His blocks and steals all of the sudden came back over the past 7 games.  The ill effects of that rap on the noggin he suffered opening night has apparently subsided.  Although I suspect it was actually a shoulder or elbow or even knee or ankle injury he played through for the past month.  Anyhow, he is back and putting up last year's defensive numbers again.

Is it me or are there a lot of players getting hurt?  In the past weeks Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Rashard Lewis, Josh Smith, Chris Paul, and possibly D-Wade tonight.

And Yao, Krstic too.  We're probably forgetting more.

I remember the season before last there was a similar stretch with a lot of guys of this caliber out, Baron Davis, Andrei Kirilenko, Jason Kidd, Jermaine O'Neal, Grant Hill and many others.
