Sarge's Dioramas
« on: October 5, 2006, 05:51 PM »
Getting back into the customizing world and will have this thread for my dioramas, works in projects, etc. I'll kick it off with my Emperor's Throne Room I did a year ago. I updated it with new stcikers and some touch up paint. Enjoy!

More photos over at my site.

Welcome Sarge!  So will you go with a full beard or just a goatee now that you're a silly-vilian?

Nice diorama there.  I really like the Emperor's chair area.  Is that all scratch-built?

Also, were you Antony or Cleopatra here?

Ruprecht, went with the evil universe Goatee.  :P

Emperor's chair is a hybrid of the original LOTR playset and sculpey. Here's a closer look.

And I was a Antho-patra in that pic.  ;D

Yes, that's one wonderful throne room, Sarge.  Very cool incorporation of LOTR elements, and you achieved a really striking look overall.  The Emperor looks so at home in that chair.  Did you have a particular picture reference, or did you come up with this look yourself?

And again, welcome back!  :)

Great diorama Sarge!! That is the real luxury of the Imperial Palace you read about in some great SW books and see in comics.

A little bumpity bump to wish everyone here at JD a great holiday season. The last couple of months have been interesting for me and my family (a little cancer scare for my wife who is a renal cancer survivor) so here is wishing everyone a Happy Holiday season, know matter what you celebrate. From my house to yours...

I'll get off my butt in the next few weeks on what will be my next project, the Sarge's Diorama room. Have a great couple of weeks.
