The slowness of it was most disappointing. Which is alright, because I mostly go there to pick fights... remember what it was like to be in junior high... Heck, I'm not sure why I go there....

I can view and manuever around the boards just fine - but when I try to post - nothing works.

I have Norton and will have to leave   ...can't have a Mod without the ability to post and there's no way I'm turning Norton off

Did you try posting?  Or are you just going on what I said.

If you tried and it didn't work for you as well, it's safe to say that's probably what it is.

Maybe you could bring it up to phillip or maybe someone here could post a link to this thread in the feedback and suggestions page - because I can't even post to let them know I'm having an issue - the only info I have is from an email to Phillip.

Yes, I've actually tried posting...works fine when Norton is disabled.

Edit: can't get into the site at all now - I'll try it out with my other (Non-Norton) machine.

I haven't posted yet but refreshing the main forum page, I am getting errors!  

I made a post in the vinty section, had a hell of a time as I previewed my post, my sig was messed up so I had to change it. Took me awhile to do as the page was stalled & sometimes timed out.

I too have been having problems getting into areas the odd times.

I have no Norton related problems though. My is on.

Good God, it looks horrible.    That was the one thing that I still really liked about RS before, was the color scheme and layout.  Looks like crap now.

I also gained about 100 additional incoming PMs that I had long since deleted, which is extremely strange...  If I deleted them over a year and a half ago, how the hell could they have been resurrected, and from where?  Unfortunately, I lost all my saved outgoing PMs though...  

Everything I clicked on was extremely slow too.  Up to almost a minute (on my cable modem at work) for most things.  But on the bright side, I did move up in the world there - from Member #2875 to #1760.  Did they purge a bunch of the inactive folks, I wonder...  Or did things just go that wonky with the switch?

Well, I only wander over there occasionally for trading or store finds, so I guess the eyesore of a new look won't affect me too much...

Its cluttered and the colors are off and the smiley things look ugly.  And why is it sized so that its smushed in the center of the screen?  I guess it that's normal, but the whole thing looks off.  I guess I'll have to get used to it if I want to enjoy hunting down elusively worthwhile or fun posts.

I can't find any problems I've had with security incompatibilities.  All of my outgoing PMs are gone.

I have to agree with Matt on the look thing it sucks.  I hope they can get it to move faster since its taking a long time for me and I'm on a DSL modem.  A few other things that I don't like about it right now:

You can't edit your post (same thing happen at GH but was eventually fix) (I wonder what Greg(g) is going to do for all of his lists).

All of my sent pms are gone while I got alot of my other older pms back from the deleted file grave.

Also ranks are gone and Post counts are back.

I'm sure there is a lot more once everything starts working.

One thing I like is that I'm now in the top 500 members but one of my old accounts was probally deleted (Old member number 25)

Seriously, I can only post with my old PC here. I can no longer use my XP machine OR post from work (which is the majority of occasions).
