Darth Vader Lego Maquette

That's odd.  SWS.com is listing this as unavailable now.  Is that their way of saying it's pre-sold out?  It seems stupid to completely take it off the website if it hasn't even shipped yet.  ???

It is possible for it to be pre-sold out. Taking it off prevents any mistakes in ordering or whatever problems they may encounter.

A picture of a Blackhole Stormtrooper Lego maquette is available on slave1.jp, for those interested.  Also, any word on the 'chase' heads to be randomly packed in the Vader and Stormtrooper?

Looks like there is a Luke X-Wing Pilot maquette that will be tandem-packed with a lego X-Wing this summer.  I tried to find more details on Lego's site, but no dice.

I saw pics of this as well and to me it's the best looking Maquette yet. I'll definitely be picking one up. Most likely i'll ebay off X-wing to recoup some of the cost...

Looks like those 'chase' heads will be: a scarred Anakin for the Vader maquette and a Han Solo for the Stormtrooper.  No word I can find on numbers.

Jeff kindly posted the following on the front page:

"Hyperspace members who missed out on the Darth Vader or Stormtrooper LEGO Maquettes will want to hang around their computers this weekend. On August 30th, StarWarsShop.com will be offering both maquettes exclusively to Hyperspace members for a limited time. After September 4th, any remaining units will be made available to the general public."

Has anyone else tried doing this?  They are now listed as in stock, I've logged into both my SW.com and SWS.com accounts and confirmed that I have a Hyperspace subscription, but I still can't seem to get the "add to cart" button to show up.  I want that Vader maquette so bad!  :-[

What a stupid system.  I consider myself a semi-intelligent person, so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong - I followed the damn directions and it gets me nowhere.

I appreciate you trying Dale!
