KOTOR Figures Thread
« on: October 14, 2006, 04:45 PM »
The discussion 212th Battalion started (Most Wanted Fig) reminded me of just how much I want more KOTOR figs. I speak of one in particular: the very hot Bastila Shan...any thoughts? Does anyone share this need for Kotor's, especially Bastila, with me?

First of, I think this thread would be better suited for the "Hey Hasbro" forum. Second, we are getting one KOTOR figure in '07, Darth Revan. Third, I don't see the need to start a petition, as Hasbro will likely realize the demand for KOTOR figures and make some more. I'd love to see a Sith Trooper and Sith Official, Bastila, and of course, everybody's favorite senile old man Jedi, Jolee Bindo.

Who, who, who and who?  The problem with KOTOR is that we don't all have time to play it.  The truth is, all EU is fringe.  While each section (comic, books, games) may have rabid fans, the fan bases are much smaller than that of the films.  I'm all for EU, but I'd rather have the "third alien from the right" from a film I've seen over 100 times, than a main character from somethinh I know nothing about.

So is Republic Commando, and they got 8 figures made so far.

Actually, they only made 1 Commando figure.  All the other figures in the set are just repaints.

I guess this will make me sound old...but what is a KOTOR?  Is it in the Prequels?  If so then NO.  If it is in the Original Trilogy..they yes.

Well, I'm all in favor of EU figures. But as for KOTOR in particular ... honestly I don't care.

I'll take some here and there, but when it comes to EU, they need to spread it out a bit. KOTOR is just a tiny amount of the EU as a whole, and since they're already making a KOTOR figure, I think it would be in Hasbro's best taste to move on to new material.
Yo is what yo is.

I LOVE Kotor, and I'm 30 next month, so its not a kid thing. I'd love a few figures sprinkled around, but I don't think it would have the appeal to sell all by itself.

Thats what I meant, like Bastila, Nihilus, etc. It's weird to have a revan if he's gonna be all alone thousands of years before the time of our other figs!  :P   ;)

Well, he myseteriously disappears after the first KOTOR, so maybe he was in suspended animation on an asteroid or something, and discovered by the Imperial remnant after Thrawn (I don't go any further into the EU than the Thrawn trilogy). There you go! Enjoy the new storyline I have given you!  ;D
