I used to live in SoCal so you are dead on with going when the store first opens. I always had great luck at the Target on PCH in Manhatten beach. I hit that every morning on my way to Mattel.

Same crazy competition here in Chicago. If you do not go first thing forget it. Now its Hot Wheel scalper city, they have been beating me to the store. I really want the other 9 UGH's but this is really hard with so much extra competition from die-cast losers.

Ya, I know the Hot wheels peeps are crossing over and scalping star wars to pay for their cars but if you even look at the Hot Wheels section ..yikessss. Actually, I do have one Hot Wheels guy that picks thing up for me he got me StarKiller and McVader..along with a couple other hard to find items.

Scored a few things tonight, including McQuarrie Vader, UGH Vader w/ Ben's cloak,  UGH Pilot Biggs, UGH McQuarrie Boba Fett, SL Darktrooper, SL Sandtrooper (dirty, orange pauldron, TSC sculpt), SL Sandtrooper (clean, white pauldron, TSC sculpt), SL white Pit Droids, Clone Commander (ROTS Evolutions - corrected rifle)and one Imperial Officer (dark hair, SAGA re-release) that was so smashed up that it wouldn't scan and I got it for FREE!!!

I saw the black pauldron one pictured, but didn't realize a white pauldron clean trooper was coming too...  Yowza, that's a lotta variations going on there.

I got the Clean Sandie with the White Pauldron as well. I forgot about the Black Pauldron version.

I've got so many black pauldrons that white army building would be nice.  Non-coms are in short supply in my trooper army, while officers are overly abundant.

I picked up 3 Legends 501st and 2 Alpha/Obi comic packs at my locat Target.  They're still marked at $3 for basic figs and $5 for comic packs, so the whole lot came to just $20.

I had that standard sale at Target, but didn't see anything about $3 figs and $5 comic packs- those weren't clearanced, were they?  Has anyone else seen a Target sale of that magnitude?

It's a fluke, no sale...Justin is just lucky enough to have a stooooopid Target that has had $3 figs and $5 comic packs for two months now.  I won't give away its location though

Picked up smuggler lando, white pitdroids and cz-4 at two walmarts.  Saw red sandtrooper, two different imperial officers and blaster marks battle droids in various walmarts.
