I personally list grey as specialists, a rank between the black grunts (or pauldronless troopers), and white sergeants or squad leaders (Non-Coms).  With of course orange being an officer's rank, especially since they're referred to as "sir".

I think grey is debateable.  A picture exists of a trooper with a pauldron that COULD be white and really dirty, however the armor is white and there's a distinctly different shade/hue of color between the pauldron and the armor (and both are colored similarly, of course, with the same dirt/wear).  Hasbro's really dark pauldrons seem incorrect regardless...  The POTJ Sandie is who I'm talking about here.  The Evolutions seems like the proper color, if grey does indeed exist, however it's really a tough one to call.

I go with it because, well, I have grey pauldroned Troopers in my collection so it's easy to just say, "Hey, these guys are specialists", and call it a day. :)

Well I suppose everyone will be all over the Biker Scouts again.  I want a couple more and a few more of the white AOTC troopers as well.  I will definately get the imperial droid.  I would kind of like to get some imperials to.  Sigh...poor wallet.

Figures... the only stinkers in this wave are Vader and 3PO. The previous waves are full of pegwarmers, which I think will cause problems for this wave. It's a bummer, but it follows the typical Hasbro formula.

Is anyone else worried that the AOTC clone officers are being vastly underpacked?  I have yet to see a case assortment with more than one of them in it...

Seems to me there are MANY people that are going to want at least one of each color.  And most of those people couldn't care less about most of the other figures.  So starting with the first assumption, the fact that H is packing the variants like they are the same figure (IOW, only one AOTC clone per case regardless of color), this seems like strating out with a shortage of 4:1.  Then add in the popularity and the rarity of this figure is going to be crazy.

I know the only other ones I want are a Biker Scout (just for the card really) and a Boba Fett (again, just for the card).

Seeing as how the green seargent, which is present in a ratio of 1 seargent to 8 plain white clones, sat in Target and Walmarts around me, I'm not too worried.  Blue lieutenants are present 1 to 36 grunts, red captains 1 to 144 clones, and yellow commanders 1 to roughly 2,000 clones.

I'm probably dreaming though, clones should fly.  I was surprised how the green ones sat so long though.

Is anyone else concerned that once these start filling, and eventually warming, pegs, the 30AC will be impossible to find?

Considering the 30AC stuff is already impossible for a lot of folks to find due to the deluge of Saga stuff clogging Wal-Mart pegs, I'm guessing you'll see a lot of yes answers...  :-X

Yep, I went to one Wal-Mart yesterday that had basically been wiped clean of their TAC wave 1.  I walked around the corner to see the pegs full...of the WM Saga repaint wave.  I mean it is stacked full with them.  LOL!  I was like "You have to be kidding me!"  The friggin repaint wave of all things.  Needless to say there is no need to frequent that WM for a long, long time.

That seems to be a problem all over the place.  Our local WM has been packed with Enboo and Greatest Battles figures for a long time now, and I haven't bothered looking there.  I stopped in the action figure aisle this past weekend while we were there, and they still have those same figures with the repaint wave jammed over top of them now.  They also have 2 Vader/RFT comic packs, but that's about it.  I don't see them having new basic figures anytime soon, unless they really start selling/clearancing what is there.

We're still sitting on vast quantities of Endboo, never mind the old stuff.  Now pics have surfaced of the Legends stuff on Canadian cards, which means we're getting it :-\  All I can say is thank goodness I pretty much wrapped up my TAC needs via ordering online.  I'm good through wave 5.  I won't be able to pick up any extras until they're plentiful, but at least it won't be so painful waiting for that to happen.

Definitely concerned on pegwarming...

I think some of them make sense, I know I'll be buying a lot of them as there's some unique and sorta new figures in there...  But yeah I'm very concerned about how some of these will warm pegs and screw distribution of the nice new stuff we all want in droves.
