rots cat miin

i challenge that. i dont like:
the lack of articulation
the not very good sculpt
the inability to stand without a base
and the gash in the chest.

she is a good fig for separatist scenes when you squint to
ignore that nasty cut, but i wouldnt say we should be thanking hasbro for it.
more from me:

Gragra
Durge
30AC SA Mace Windu
30AC Galactic Marine

Deluxe Durge was one of the greatest figures (if you like the character at least) of the modern line IMO...  4 weapons, a big ass speederbike, and super articulation...  I see no complaints there.  The paintjob isn't as flashy as the basic figure, but it's nothing to blow one's nose at either.

I'll second that. I believe we will look back on 2006 as one of the great years for OT army building. Some officers, a VTSC biker scout, a rocking DS Gunner, VOTC stormie/sandtrooper and an AT-AT driver that makes my all time favorite list.

Not to mention a few good clones and in decent quantity (Utapau, greatest battle grunts, and battle packs with shocktroopers and a purple squad).

yes, it certainly was. and availability was quite improved this year. in my area there are still DSGs everywhere, and ATAT Drivers also used to be pretty common to come across.
