Not that far off now and I'm still not done hard on GHIII.   :-\

You and me both.  I'm stuck on Knights of Cydonia and 3's and 7's.

i hate how you cant play Bass in GH3 unless its in co-op or practise mode. everytime i play it i get 90's in expert same with rockband yet i have a hell of a hard time in actual guitar on medium/hard lol.

I received Rock Band as an early Father's Day gift this weekend.  I have to say, I like the guitar on this one better than my GH version.  Also found the songs on Rock Band easier to play on the same level than those on GH.

Nice selection of songs though and my wife and daughter are both enjoying playing the drums.  The only one who should be singing is my daughter.  :-X

Box art for GH: Aerosmith (note the Aerosmith faceplate):

Releases June 29.

Um, apparently the PS2 version didn't come with the new faceplate.   ???

Don't worry, Brent, I'm buying World's-Smallest-Violin Hero when it comes out next year, and rest assured, will be playing every song with you in mind.

Ouch.

But I got some nifty stickers with it.   ;D ::)

And if you haven't bought it, don't.  31 songs plus 7 or so bonus songs.  I've made it through medium and hard already, halfway done expert without failing a song.  A preponderance of HOPOs which is sort of interesting and sort of annoying.  I like Aerosmith, a lot, but there's no way this isn't a ripoff at full price.
