I'm guessing that we can't slam BBTS for scamming chase figures now, not that we ever did with them.  But folks have pulled chase now from BBTS and HLJ boxes.

Nice score Nitro, it might be annoying to not have those regs, but you can find sets with chase Wedge for around $65-70 right now, thirty bucks LESS than Veers and you get a chase and two missing figures, plus extras to sell, including one of the one per case Kubs.

OkK. This is getting ridiculous. The same seller. I'm not sure what he is trying to achieve by showing this kind of photo off.

He's sitting there laughing at the silly Americans and their no kubrick country !!
Oh wait we dont have em either  :'( :'( :'(
The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

A List of Vintage Kenner Figures not yet made into Kubes:

List of figures from the Vintage Line we have not seen as kubes just yet!
This does not include playsets, Beasts or anything else like that, just basic figures.

Hammerhead
Both Bespin Guards
FX-7
Snowtrooper (oh man I have my fingers crossed for one, or a few of these)
Leia Bespin
Hoth Rebel
Lobot(would love that one)
Ugnaught
Leia Hoth
Hoth Rebel Commander
2-1B
AT-AT Commander (veers)
Luke Hoth
R2 Sensorscope
Cloud Car Pilot (would love that one)
C3-PO removable limbs
Lando Skiff (series 7)
Bib Fortuna
Biker Scout (series 7)
Chief Cherpa
Royal Guard (series 7)
Gamorrean Guard (series 7)
General Madine
Klatu

Teebo
Lumat
R2 Pop-Up Saber
A-Wing Pilot
Imperial Dignitary
Anakin (flesh)
Amanaman
Barada
EV-9D9
Lando General
Romba Warok
Yak Face

Droids Cartoon, I think the only one we will see from this line now is 3-PO.

Vlix (how cool would that be?)
Jann Tosh
Jord Dusat
Kea Moll
Kez-Iban
See-Threepio (C-3PO)
Sise Fromm
Thall Joben
Tig Fromm
Uncle Gundy

Ewoks Cartoon, doubt we will see these:

Dulok Scout
Dulok Shaman
King Garneesh
Logray
Ugrah Lady Garneesh

Kubricks that were not in the vintage line, pretty sure all of these have been made in the Modern Hasbro line though:

Not sure if the Chase Kubricks of Fett would count, worth mentioning though.
Cantina Band member
Sandtrooper(White, Orange and Black)
Darth Vader with Luke's face
Han Stormie
Leia Slave
Rebel Trooper
Tarkin
Wedge
Droids Boba
Holographic Leia
R2-O5
Spirit of Ben
Doda Bodonawieedo( I hate counting the SE)
K-3PO
Luke Ceremonial
Ten Numb

The only one I think that Kenner nor Hasbro made is the R5 Imperial Unit.

And then we have the new movies...I might have to take a bridge if they release them along side the Vintage...imagine all the Clones...

Does anyone think the Bricks will go long enough to comprise the entire Vintage Line?

BBTS was good to me for chases.  I ordered their last 3 cases of series 3 at the beginning of the year when they were discounted to $80 each and pulled a Logray, plus 3 Hibernation Sickness Hans.  Can't beat that for $240.

I'll agree about BBTS, I pulled a 6-armed Spidey from my Marvel 3 case that I got from them...

Congrat's on Sacul Dale.   ;D

Mine is still in Japan at the moment.  Time to request a shipment.

As for that case box from BBTS, that is the first time I have ever heard a box of 12 Star Wars not containing a complete set of 6.  Very odd.  Congrat's on pulling the Imperial Officer though.

If you got a Blue snag, you didn`t get the red one with series 5.

Guy over at KW got a full box of Vaders, also. He said the box was sealed completey too. Very odd.

I dunno, a lot of the boxes I've received in the last two cases (one from each previous series) were open at the bottom.  Not tampered with, just the glue didn't hold well.  You could see the pattern of the glue on the box bottom clearly and my cases have both been exactly as they should have been with chase figures.  I even re-glued one of the boxes I kept for display, so the bottom flap wasn't damaged.  I just ran regular white glue along the previous glue lines and it stayed perfectly as though it had never been opened.  I think at least for the last two series it would be pretty easy to fake a sealed box.

Just sitting around and thinking about the math of Kubricks:

92 (+/-) vintage figures from Kenner
8 figures per Kubrick series (often 9, but 8 allows for multiple Fetts or Hasbro released characters)
~$250 per Kubrick series (perhaps a bit on the low side)
92/8 = 11.5
11.5 x $250 = $2875

That doesn't include the carded beasts or boxed sets or much drifting into the Hasbro stuff.  It also certainly doesn't include if you were unfortunate enough to backtrack to get the chase Fetts or Indy.

I'm pretty sure I paid less than that for my entire vintage loose collection.

My master case was the same way- on 3 of the 4 boxes the glue had let-go on the bottom flap. It would have been very easy to tamper with box assortments if I were splitting them to sell.
But since you got a Veers it sems very unlikely they were cherry-picking the boxes-

I hope there are at least 3-4 more series of OT (through 2007 at least). If they switch to prequels, I'll still buy them, I will just order single boxes instead of master cases.

Series 5, most of the boxes I had were unglued as well. This time they were all good though.

Just got Imperial Officer in the mail, score! Series 6 done.
Also got another white pauldron Sandy (needed 2, 1 looked lonely).

BBTS is good. Since they don`t sell sets/singles anymore, I doubt they would take the time to open them. We got our MC of series 3 from them, great service and I like the email updates every week, gives me something to read.

Well I think that is the first assortment of the box with Veers in it posted that I can remember.

Didn't Simon have Veers?

Here is how box 1 ended up.

His box was not all screwed up and missing figures...  I guess nitro just got a bad box?  :-\

I got Veers too, and it was the same as Simon's box.
