The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

Very nice, Hemish!

Crackbrick pointed out to me, the biker scout set scout even has dirt, where the
series scout is clean....

The Speeder Set is on the Medicom Website today. A November release. Limited to 2006 pieces.

Just by way of an update, I was chatting with a fellow I know in Japan that helped me get the Luke/Leia speederbike box a couple of years back.  Apparently the pre-order on this is a lottery, you can pre-order (if you live in Japan, one per address/family) and in August you will find out if you are one of the lucky recipients.  Simply pre-ordering this isn't going to net you one. :-\  There may be ways around that in Japan, but I nor my friend are aware of any at this point.

So it may list for a very reasonable price, but you have to expect that just about every ebay seller in Japan (no offense, there are some excellent folks there) will be doing their best to get their hands on these.  You can also, of course, expect that the price will move up considerably from what the retail price is.  Given it's 2006 pieces, my expectation is it will settle out around the price of the Droids R2 figure, so somewhere between $80-120 USD depending on your luck/skill.

Simon, please correct my information if it is wrong.

That's pretty normal actually.  I've seen auctions since the first tiny picture leaked out a while back.

So...because of the limited number and the fact that I don't live in Japan I have to wait until this hits Ebay Brent?

EDIT: topic-- the biker scout with speeder bike

Yes, that's correct.  Even the folks in Japan that ordered it don't know if they're getting it yet.  They'll find out in August.
