I love the display crackbrick, and I think you are admirably insane for opening a parco sandie-
what's the story on the bases?

Indeed I am insane!
The bases came from a line called Myclone, they are Kubrick type Block figures that are a nod to vintage Microman and Henshin Cyborg...long toy history there.
Takara is now owned by Medicom:

Has anyone ordered a case from Oscar for Sacul yet?  I haven't taken the time to see if he will fit in any of the other cases.

I've got my Sacul in a case from Oscar.

I sent him the bubble depth of Sacul and he sent along the correct size Kubrick Case (I think he said he has two differnt depths now).

Works great, looks nice and keeps carded Sacul nice and safe.   ;)

How much would cases run?
I'd like to get at least one for either the Cartoon Fett and Parco Sandtrooper.

thanks

Gots me some more Stormtroopers in the mail this morning.
Army building with Kubricks is fun.

That's exactly what I've been doing with these Kubys.  I've only managed to get 6 Stormtroopers so far, but I'm aiming for 12 of each army-builder.  I've only hit that target with TIE Fighter Pilots and Ewoks (Wicket).  I've got 7 X-Wing Pilots (Luke) and 6 Death Star Gunners, 2 Death Star Troopers, 1 Jawa, 1 Rebel Trooper, but no AT-AT Drivers.

I'd swear when I opened my box of Kubys this past week that the plastic smell was stronger than ever.  They must be trying to ensure the addiction doesn't break.  ;)

Two less holes in my collection, thanks to a certain someone in Japan.

My carded Luke (soon to be freed) and the second TRU box set are now in my greasy hands.  All that's missing that I really want is a Sacul.  I'm missing the Logray (ptui) and the second instrument Cantina band member (anyone?) but I'm too cheap to pay ebay prices for the latter and too nervous about fakes with the former (and it's a bloody ewok ::)).

Bring on series 7.

Nice pick ups! I still don`t have any of the carded figs other than droids Boba (probably from the same certain someone you mention).
The only other carded one I really want is R2. I rather buy a few sandtroopers/stormtroopers than pay for the other carded figs. I`m with you on the Logray. If I didn`t grab one when/where I did, I would have to pass on it now.

Mr. Dylan, your collection looks great! I especially love the imperial shelf. Good stuff!

Has anyone else noticed that the Biker Scouts look a bit different? Looks like a dirty and clean version.

I see Mr Instinct is also is having a stab at the new assortment rates.

Are you mostly just referring to their boots, Simon?  I can't really tell, but I suppose that would be a cool thing if they made the two of them a little bit different from eachother.

As for those potential case ratios there, not bad, but definitely not perfect.  2 Spirit Anakins?  Dumb.  (even if Spirit Yoda is a chase)  There should be a couple Gamorrean Guards in there at least, since he's sort of an army building figure for Jabba's Palace setups.  Probably just a cost factor decision by Kubrick on those two.  The Scout and Royal Guard should probably get reversed too, so there's a few more Scouts available.  We probably don't need quite that many Royal Guards really, unless folks are planning on doing the Imperial Shuttle arrival diorama.  Otherwise, no complaints.  Could've been far worse, that's for sure.

Nice pix there too, Dan!  Didn't have to stick that damned TIE Defender in there though, you stinkin' showoff!  >:( (yeah, that's the only AF ship I'm still missing, so I'm bitter and jealous)

Well, the defender was a little boastful. That and I'm sick of how many things I have in tubs instead of on display. That thing hasn't seen light in 3 years at least, so I wanted to put it with my current favorite, the Kubricks. Crackbrickhead's great set up with the vinty dewback inspired the ships going with the pilots.

Now I have to get Jedijaybirds poster set up in my Hasbro hoth cabinet- always more work to do.  ;D
