Well 1 case is spoken for "Matt Brand", & 3 sets are spoken for so thats all 4 cases. Not sure what the ratio of the figures will be, have to wait till there on the market & there will be some figures left over for anyone that wants them.  ;)

Update: when I said cases, I meant boxes so 4 boxes for 1 master case.  :-[  There will be extras of some figures, just not sure which ones.   :-\

I'm really thinking now that these will be carded now, there is no way that Carbonite block will fit in the box.  Plus all new non-blind Kubricks have been carded...sorry to all of you who are gonna have to shell out some more $$$ :-\

I still can't see the carbonite block being released in the box either. We will just have to wait & see when the series is released.

So...

Being the newbie, what's the best way to grab a full set (including chases if there are any)?
Ordering a full set?  Ordering a full box of 12?

Where do most of you buy your set/box from?  HJL?  BBTS?  ActionHQ?

If you order a box of 12, you should get a full set & maybe a chase.

With series 2, BBTS had full sets available & at a good price. Not sure what they will do this time. Will have to wait till they have them in stock.

Both series 1 & 2 I ordered from HLJ & so far I have done good. I just had to run around & find the odd chase figure that I did not get. I like opening the boxes, just like looking for a prize.  ;)

eBay will have them but they will cost big time.

So,

Do we have any inkling on Chase figures for series 3?  Do we get that info early?  Or is it just when ppl start ripping open the boxes and finding them?

(forgive my newbie-ness :()

I wouldn't mind a Chase Ewok or Chse General Lando...

We won't find out what the chase figures are until the boxes are cracked open from the supplier. They will be on the market before they arrive here so we will have a good idea what they are.

We will hear word from people like Simon & others that live over in the orient. eBay will be a good source of information too.

As for a chase figure/s, a Tie Pilot would be nice, Darth Vader & Yoda too. A Royal Guard would kick ass!

Also take note that the mini boxes are sealed & the figures are also sealed in a silver foil bag to hide what they are. I think this would be to prevent people at the stores from opening them & figuring out the chase fig's are.

There is also the 1 major chase figure that is 1 in 48 of finding in a box of 12, that small box packed in a certain way.

When the time gets closer to the release of the figures, I'm going to be pumped with excitement!  ;)

Well, if you didn't already have 3 of those figures Jeff, I'd say it's not too bad of a deal at $10 each.  The Ben, Greedo, and Tusken were the "shortpacked" (1 per case) figures in that wave, so they're a little tougher to come by.  The White Sandtrooper isn't really that tough of a chase compared to the others.  He's packed at the same ratio as the Ben, Greedo, and Tusken (1/12).  Cantina guys are a pretty even split between the Japan and Hong Kong versions, and again, not too tough.  The sealed Han is a nice bonus though, with the slim chance at an Indy.

Bottom line, you're paying $90 for just SIX new figures, which is $15 per.  You might not even be able to move those 3 extra/duplicate ones you get stuck with either.  $15 per is probably too much for just 6 new ones IMO...  If you keep an eye on eBay, there's some real good lots that pop up with this entire wave - which is why I suggested buying each wave all at once, if possible, rather than trying to put them together individually...  Little cheaper that way.

So, does that help?!   :P   :-\

Yeah, that helps.  Thanks for the advise O wise Kubrick Elder.

I think I'll just keep watching eBay until I find a good score...

I've got a full set of the second series if anyone wants.

Hell, Jeff, I'd have sold you mine for less than that.  Oh well, someone else perhaps.

BTW, I'm chancing the BBTS route again.  For series 1 and 2 I ordered with Dale from HLJ.com.  Everything went along fine, great shipping, quick, good price.  I just wanted Indy.  Badly.  So I relented and picked up the complete set from BBTS for $129, $10 more than Scott paid, because I ordered later.  I'm expecting/hoping for the same price on the complete set again.

Have I said yet I hate ******* Ewoks ::)
