Some really good choices here. I'm leaning towards a Vader & Yoda.

Tie Fighter Pilot, Slave Leia, or Emperor's Royal Guard would be nice. Droopy McCool, Max Rebo & Sy Snootles from the Rebo band would be interesting. Heck, Amanaman, EV-9D9 & Yak Face...endless.  8)

Methinks we are very close to having another join our ranks...

Wonder if he'll step out of the shadows or enjoy his Kubrick in silence?  :)

I thought you were talking about Brian/mosnab...  No?  He already chimed in a few pages ago.  You pimpin' your extras to someone else as well.  Like a total JD virgin?

Anyway, regarding the Chase figures, I think you guys are going totally bonkers here with some of your ideas!   :-*  Vader & Yoda?  Those are way too MAIN of characters to be chase figures I think.  Look at the chase figures we've gotten so far:

1 & 2) Two paint variants on the regular Boba

3) A paint variant on the regular Sandtrooper

4) An accessory variant on the Cantina Band Member

5) And a figure (Indy) from an entirely different movie franchise...

So I think a lot/all of the aforementioned ideas just ain't gonna happen, and that's a good thing since most of them are characters that should probably see a regular release.  We went through the whole Chase figure guessing earlier on in this thread too.  I'll have to see if I can go dig up which page that was, and see what my guesses were.

I think the best guesses based on what we've gotten before are:

C-3PO = K-3PO (and/or the silver version from ANH or ESB)

Lando Calrissian (ESB) = Scoundrel Lando (from end of ESB, but not General Lando since that's too main a character)

Wickett = other random Ewok (painted differently)

Carbonite block = silver version (since in some shots it looks brown, and in others it's more like silver/grey

AT-AT Driver = Tie Pilot (doubtful though, since it's an entirely different character)

There's no chance of a chase figure in the boxset though, right?  That's gonna be window boxed like the Speederbike set, I'd imagine...

I don't keep an eye on any other Kubrick lines though, so maybe some of you can speak to the Chase figure selections in those...  Are they usually just paint variants like in this line, or are there some bigger differences than that?

Medicom is really random with chase figures from line to line.  Marvel is very similar to Star Wars in the chase figure department.  You get variants of ones already produced.  Other lines like the Matrix (Keymaker, Architect) had completely different characters included.  I'm not even going to try and guess what the chase for Star Wars 3 will be.  I just hope it rocks.

This is the final list for the Kubrick TRU Set coming out in December. Sorry, but I won't accept anymore orders from now on.

The final word one this is that I will try my very best to get these set for everyone. It appears that it will be pretty easy to get at TRU stores, however, if it is not the case, everyone will have to look them through alternate means. Those of you who have dealt with me in the past will know that I have the best intentions and will do the very best to make everyone happy. ;D I'm hoping that 15 sets will be easy to come by but then again, who knows.....

Thanks to Jeff, I officially own "a Kubrick" now.  Perhaps the first step into a larger world....  Still not sure if I'll be able to afford to keep up/catch up with all of you, and dive into this all the way, but I'd sure like to.  This is the first time I've seen a Kubrick in person, and they are really nice little figures.  I could see where this could definitely become a disease....Kubrickholism is it?  Hopefully I can continue on, but doing as I always do, and starting in late, it might be a little pricey for me right now to catch up.  If I can't, I'm happy to at least have a Han Solo, too bad Chewie doesn't come single packed as well :).  I definitely now see what all the "buzz" is about with these things :).

I was watching this auction, but it's headed out of my price range  :'(

If only I could get the seller to find another one to sell to me

I can't wait for these. I hope that they come out soon. Just seeing the pre-orders up on ebay has me pumped. I can't wait to find out what the chase figures are.

We are all looking forward to seeing the chase figures when they come out. Just need a Kubrick fix to pass the time right now.
